10 Years of Meh Clicks
3510 years later and somehow haven’t missed a day. The face monster almost got me a time or two but hasn’t taken me down yet. No idea how long this will stretch on, sometime it has to come to an end, but here we are 10 years later and still going.

@narfcake Looking back at the old thread tracking this I believe I am the only member from the Day 0 club who is still perfect.

@OnionSoup @Raider Yeah, that’s some magic nonsense. I’ve been here for several crashes, and roll-backs, and double posts. Just wild to see a clean streak at this point. I’m incredibly impressed.
@ExtraMedium @OnionSoup Honestly shocked it is still going. I do not do anything special like set alarms or reminders or anything, just one of the websites in my daily routine. Look at news, check sports scores and see what’s on Meh.
Once or twice I hadn’t looked until a few minutes before roll over. What’s more shocking is that somehow while traveling I still end up falling into the routine a bit to help wind down from the day.
Really… An accomplishment like that deserves a special prize.
I still find it hilarious that I didn’t know about the site or the Kickstarter until after launch. Both of those are, as they say, my jam.

@Raider I’ve been taking screenshots all day just in case. Also I realize that this number of days takes into account leap years.
Well I am far, far from perfect but at least I have a lot of clicks (was on here from about day 3 or 5 or something). Oh wait. I am not sure that says something good about me.
First one is at the start of today day. The second one shows I have been derelict in my duty today too.

Wow. I was impressed that I got to 132 days. Now I’m just…just…wow.
Not quite 10 years for me but wow do I feel like a loser.
What I really want to know is what is the max amount of clicks someone could have if they never missed.
I didn’t join meh until a month after launch and then missed one or two days due to no internet (cruise and then bumblefuck nowhere trip) and would like to have stats and rankings on who has longer streaks!!! I know I’m behind on total meh clicks on the mehraton days (life gets in the way and too lazy to automate a script) . . .
I have been here since the beginning, am a Kickstarter, blah, blah…however, somehow in my brainless existence at the time - working full time with 2 toddlers while also in college full-time getting dual bachelor degrees - somehow it was months or longer before I even realized you could click the button
Also, I like to cruise and never get Wi-Fi or Cell service so a perfect streak is impossible for me anyway. I choose my battles and this is not one of them. Kudos to those of you who are more dedicated clickers than I.
@cbilyak I intentionally didn’t click the button for quite a while because I thought it meant that once it was clicked, you couldn’t buy the product… like it was saying “meh, I don’t want this” and it turned off the offer. Not sure why I thought that, I just did.

Because it’s a pretty logical thing to think, IMHO.
There are two buttons, one to buy and one to downvote… except that’s not actually how it is.
(In other words, I originally thought the same thing for a while. I don’t remember how/when I learned otherwise.)
I stopped clicking when we went from Speaker docks to real trash…
I must admit, I’m impressed. Good job.
Are you… glad that you clicked a button on the deals website without fail every single day for ten years? Was it worth your time, effort, and worry? Is this victory-lap thread the reward you desire for those clicks?
If you stop now and break the streak intentionally at this milestone, it would bring closure to the cycle on your terms.
@806D2701 Honestly not something I have stressed over, just something that happened. It will end when it will ends, hopefully over a good reason but hey life happens.
That’s a great attitude. I’m so glad it happened naturally, and you never felt any pressure to continue your streak.
I’m at 3613. I think I missed one due to the “newborn.”

Been here since Kickstarter. Missed a few days here and there. I also don’t have a chance to keep up during the day with the Mehrethons, so I missed a bunch there.

I missed 2 or 3 this morning due ti the server outage. That is frustrating because I was there so it’s not my fault I couldn’t click it.

Just have to say the obvious - any streak of four digits is decidedly non-meh.
I have clicked every single face that I clicked on. All of them. I never missed a single one.
Also, I did the Mehest thing possible and missed a year straight by one day. Totally on accident too. I was on vacation and just forgot. Oof
