福袋 憶測
5Uh...that’s Fukubukuro speculation if you can’t read Japanese or use Google translate.
No you can’t have one yet, we’re starting to pack them up now but it’ll still be a few weeks before you get yours.
Do you regret it yet? Or are you going to wait till you get it to regret it?

Very interesting! I don't have Japanese on my Linux distro so all I see for a title are 4 boxes. I'd never tried copying these types of boxes into Google translate, but figured WTH and, lo and behold, the translation is revealed to be "bags speculation." This little trick could come in handy!
I thought you were just a Linux bragger and then that other bit was cool :)
I already regret it. The excitement of the Fukubukuro has already got me to buy into the VMP and two tee shirts because meh.
meh. I'm neutral on the issue.
Well, I hear you have an awful lot of office decorations lying around the mediocre offices....
Yeah...no, those are mine. You can't have them.
Who missed out to satisfy my morning schadenfreude - must I wait until tomorrow to hear your cries?
I'm extremely sad that I wasn't told or didn't find the kickstarter in time to secure one... Like it literally makes me sad.
Guess I'll try to score the next one :(
And so the saga of Meh begins.
I will be back to read this again in the morning #breakfastschadenfreude
Will there be an email for the Kickstarter backers to go to in order to enter mailing info for the fukubukuro bags?
Thanks for asking that. I have been wondering the same thing but was sort of shy about asking it.
@sushiboy @cengland0 Yep! We'll send out a survey, but wanted to do it close to shipping time so things don't change.
I regret nothing!
(except this post)
I GOT MY TRACKING NUMBER! 7.2 lbs!
Wait... No sorry... Wrong website, and I really jumped the gun there. I'm so sorry.
I asked google to translate "Chinese" to English. Got back "lucky memory test." Meh.
Hi there. Looks like they lured you into the Meh trap as well! I just couldn't resist a taste of the old days.
Try it again, but translate from Japanese.
@Mac454: I'd already done the Japanese translation; I was just curious about what, if anything, would turn up in Chinese.
I'm mildly concerned that I will get my seligman stuff back.
So cool that I recognize familiar user names from the site that shall not be named.
As long as you remember I'm TC, I'll be excited. ;)
Also, V'owlar Morghulis @trlenoir
The thought had crossed my mind as well.
Did everyone else already know that fukubukuro meant "mystery bag" or did they also have to wiki that one too? Also, I never was lucky enough to get a bag of crap from Woot so I'm at least excited I get this!! (even if the contents are meh)
Everything about the word "fukubukuro" makes me think "fun bags." I'll be expecting something at least mildly adultish.
What would be cool is if the "letter" was included in one of these bags . . . . perhaps there is a robot lawnmower sitting in a warehouse somewhere that needs a home along with 100 pallets of car wax and a 1000 buckets.
Oh man, does this mean the return of "The Letter?"
I would also like to know if there will be a confirmation email. I purchased a house and will be moving in the next 2 weeks and am afraid that if it gets shipped to my payment address then I will not receive my bag.
No worries, we're going to send out a survey to get your address before we ship.
Huh. That's cool. I thought it was a made up word because it sounds like "F**k you buckaroo", and thought it was hilarious.
I look forward to what Meh/Mediocre will put inside a Fukubukuro, it shall be entertaining.
I have been to Japan on a few occasions (grandparents live near Tokyo) and have gotten a few over the years.
Last one I got I bought from a gunpla store for like ¥5,000 and got well over ¥12,000 worth of models and misc Gundam stuff.
SO I do have some rather high expectations ;)
One of the most fun craps I ever got from Woot was about 6 Virgin Mobile wireless phones that had a really sassy answering machine. They were great, especially since they all still had messages on them from people who previously owned them.
