You decide to slice the turkey before you bring it to the table.
Unfortunately, your knives are dull, and you slip, cutting your finger.
When the timer goes off, you feel downtrodden but still bring the bird to the table. At it sit four guests: Geoffrey Zakarian, Alex Guarnaschelli, Scott Conant, and Ted Allen.
Ted Allen lifts the cloche, revealing your turkey.
“You had some really great ideas today,” Geoffrey Zakarian says, “but unfortunately, you bled in the food, so we can’t eat it. For this reason, we had to chop you.”
You leave gracefully, but then, in your confessional, you say the judges made the wrong decision.
