You won't believe this amazing bonus feature!

You know what’s wonderful? Music. The spiritual alchemy of a chord change, a rhythm, the tone of a voice. When an arrangement of mere sounds can carry us into someone else’s head or heart, make time fall away, compel us to move like children discovering ourselves. It’s the closest thing we have to magic.

You know what’s the opposite of that? Pairing your goddamn Bluetooth speaker. That’s why we’re offering these speakers with an incredible special feature:

No Bluetooth!

Previously, when we’ve sold the Bluetoothy version of these little portable speakers, you guys had almost nothing but good things to say. “Seriously impressed.” “A quality buy.” “Best thing I’ve bought from Meh.” “Love them.”

Almost nothing but good, we said, because there was one problem. It starts with a “B” and ends with a “luetooth pairing can be freaking maddening.” That’s a paraphrase of the original complaints, but an accurate one.

So here are their Bluetoothless cousins, conjoined in eternal stereo to boot! They still have the surprisingly big sound we praised last year, in spite of our kneejerk cynicism. You can still link even more of them together to make the sound louder and louder (although they switch to mono in that case). They hold a nice long charge like their 'toothy counterparts, too.

You just have to use them with 3.5mm aux-in jacks instead of Bluetooth, which means “pairing” them is over in half a second and doesn’t make you want to hurl your phone into rush-hour highway traffic.

Stop pairing. Stop fretting. Just listen. Just listen.
