Open up and say AA! (But not AAA.)

OK, who’s hoarding all the AAA batteries? Believe us, we’ve looked. Every time we sell AA batteries, a bunch of Mehtizens pipe up in the forums that what they really want is AAAs. We believe in giving the people what they want (to open their wallets for), so we went looking for some. The closest we came to striking a deal for bargain AAAs ended in a bloodbath in the New Mexico desert. Those bastards had wrapped a bunch of metal slugs in battery labels and tried to pass them off as the real thing. Yeah, they got what was coming to them.

But we know, you can’t run your gadgets on revenge. For now, AAAphiles, you’ll have to keep paying full price for your supply.

In the meantime, we’ve got another wave of street-grade AAs for your delectation, 40 hits at a time. Take your choice of Toshiba, which is the brand name you recognize, or Fujitsu, which is probably the better battery. That sweet G+ action is supposed to be better for high power-drain devices. And their expiration date on the Fujitsus is a little further in the future. But if you’re more comfortable with Toshiba, we won’t turn down your money.

Otherwise, the hunt goes on. We’re supposed to be meeting a boat down by the docks at 3 AM tonight. We don’t have high hopes, though. For one thing, we’re pretty sure Dallas doesn’t even have any docks.
