Love the Holidays: a Meh-rathon
“No son of mine is going to drink coffee that takes a whole day to brew!” bellowed Mr. Thomas.
“But dad,” said Daryl. “This thing brews cold brew in just 25 minutes.”
“What in blue blazes,” said Mr. Thomas rubbing his head, watching the Dorothy Rapid Cold Brewer form a small coffee tornado. “Where’d you get that?”
“Giselle gave it to me,” said Daryl, “just now, before leaving to the airport, to fly back home for Christmas. She said she wanted to go where she’s wanted.”
“I guess I was wrong about that girl,” said Mr. Thomas. “Get the keys to my truck, and cue up the Nutcracker song, boy. We got a plane to catch.”
