She gave a brief laugh, then asked him instead, “Anything you’d like to eat?”
“Turkish Delight?” requested Edmund somewhat sheepishly.
Before she could pour the magic from her vial, Irk spoke past the witch to Edmund, “You could choose anything, and you chose Turkish Delight?” He looked up at her and muttered from behind his palm, “This kid’s messed up, I say we find another one.”
