“What are you trying to say?” Henry said, rattling the bars on his cage.
“Uh,” Claire said, “isn’t it pretty obvious? We’re saying you knowingly conspired with our opponent to infect the mayor with lycanthropia on Halloween, so that a giant werewolf creature wearing the mayor’s tie would be seen causing havoc, thus building distrust among the voting public and throwing the election.”
“Oh,” Henry said. “Yeah, okay, so all that’s true.”
