Too small for Drone.Horse. Too fun to pass up.

We didn’t know a Cheerson CX-10 from a Bronx cheer until one of our staff members bought one for himself to play with. And we all got obsessed with this palm-sized wonder of minidrone technology. We spun. We rolled. We soared. We don’t know the science behind how the four rotors and gyro keep it so stable. We don’t understand how such a delicate controller can still be so easy to use. We’re not sure if it would really turn on the crowd over at Drone.Horse, our drone forum, because it’s more of a toy than an unmanned vehicle. We just knew we had to have it.

See, almost everything we sell here is an opportunity that we found out in the marketplace. If there’s anything at all good about a product, and we can get it super cheap, we’ll usually take it first and then worry about how to sell it. Our selections are usually driven by price and availability.

This one is driven by fun.

So we didn’t wait for the opportunity. We just recalibrated our retail compass to point to FUN instead of PROFIT. We tracked down the Cheerson CX-10 Mini-Quadcopter and here we are.

We would tell you if this was lame. When we’re underwhelmed, we pass the indifference on to you. We try to be brutally honest about the stuff we sell. So if you’ve ever trusted us before, believe us when we tell you: this thing is pure joy.

If you want to get into drones, it’s the perfect gateway drug. If you don’t care about drones but still enjoy fun, it’s ridiculously fun. If you think RC copters are shitty little pieces of junk that spin a few times and then crash, forget all that: those are as different from this as a roller skate is from a roller coaster. It’s the most fun you can have for 12 bucks without drugs.

We love the Cheerson CX-10 so much, we’re not making any money off of it. In fact, at this price, we don’t think anybody is, all the way up the supply chain. Maybe this quadcopter is so much fun, it has conquered human greed?
