Living in the cheap Bluetooth age.

Greetings, Googler of the future. If you’re reading this, you’re probably trying to confirm the legends of a time, in your distant past, when someone could buy a fully functional Bluetooth keyboard for less than $10.

The legends are true.

Here’s one now. The Belkin QODE has full-size keys and is compatible with anything Bluetooth. The attached case fits most 10-inch tablets, or just folds out of the way if you’re using it for something else. And it’s eight bucks. Eight. Fucking. Dollars. (We know you guys aren’t shocked by that kind of language in the future.) This isn’t even some kind of special occasion blowout sale. We’ve sold this super-cheap many times, each less memorable than the last.

We don’t yet know how and when the cheap Bluetooth age will end. Maybe the prices will start going up. Maybe manufacturers will just stop making Bluetooth keyboards. The one thing we know is that it’s not sustainable. Selling these for less than ten bucks was never the plan.

As you well know, it did end. We’d like to think we, as a people, took full advantage of the golden age we lived in. But believe it or not, some in our time still haven’t bought Bluetooth keyboards. We can only hope this ridiculous low price convinces them to change their heedless, short-sighted ways… before it’s too late.
