We can't get no certification.
We wish these were Apple-certified. Man oh MAN were we thrilled when we thought they were. It made us even more excited to be living during the the most exciting era in the smart watch’s life.
Then we found out they’re not. They’re third-party refurbs with a 90-day warranty, not official Apple refurbs with that gold-plated Cadillac of warranties. Dammit.
We’re selling them anyway. Yes, official refurbs at this price would be amazing. But they don’t exist. You pay a premium for that Apple certification. Hell, if we can get our hands on some certified refurbs, you’ll pay that premium right here.
But we can’t resist this price, certified or not. And if we can’t resist it, we know some of you won’t be able to resist it either.
Some others of you would rather pay more for a certified refurb, as if that piece of paper means something (other than, you know, being backed by the full faith and credit of one of the largest, most respected manufacturers on the planet).
But if you want in on the Apple Watch thing at a discount, now’s the time. (And if you don’t know what an Apple Watch is, we’ll let Apple tell you.) The smart watch golden age won’t last forever. The clock is ticking. (Not these ones, they don’t actually tick. Unless those third-party refurbishers went even more rogue than we thought.)
