She’d left. And on Christmas Eve of all days. Ben couldn’t believe it. Heartbroken on Christmas. Again.
Just then, the playlist played their favorite Christmas song. He took the bluetooth speaker and heaved it off the deck of his lake house and was pleased to hear a splash.
