Good, Clean Fun: a Meh-rathon
A letter from Alicia Prescott to Abigail Montgomery, editor of Spectral Sensations Magazine:
Abbie, I can think of no one else to write to concerning this. You see, I have met a ghost. But it’s even more surprising than that: the ghost is of a creature that still lives. Have you ever read anything like this in the slushpile for SSM? It was of Cameron Tilly’s dog, the one he modeled his famous Mortecai the Crime-Solving Mastiff off of. I had taken public transit out to meet a few writers for drinks. Cameron then offered me a ride home as he himself wasn’t imbibing that night. (He had a 5k to run the next morning, apparently.) I must say, his car smelled so canine that I nearly passed out. He must do something, lest he ruin the upholstery for good. (Please do not publish this letter; it would make Cameron so sad.)
