The three twins and Gil/Cork Muldoon rushed down the corridor to the bay, nearly running into Jane as she removed her helmet.
“Oh my god!” Laney said, rushing to embrace her. “We were just talking about you!”
But as soon as she got within reach, Jane issued a punishing fist to her cheek, sending her to the ground.
“Ugh, what the hell?” Laney said. “I was going to apologize!”
Jane quickly got on top of her and pushed her face down into the ground, pulling her arms behind her.
