Color us baffled.
We’re all like “WTF?” about these things. Let’s unpack the thinking here. A three-outlet adapter: OK, nothing weird about that. Build a little nightlight into it: sure, why not? The adapter lives plugged into a socket anyway, and a light could be useful enough to be worth the extra bulk it adds.
And then… make them in a range of colors? Not especially appealing colors? Colors almost certain to clash eye-scrapingly with any decorating scheme this side of Pee-Wee’s Playhouse? Why? For the love of all that is greige, why?
Like most people, we like our outlets tucked away behind a piece of furniture, or at least made to look as inconspicuous as possible. They’re a necessary, functional tool, not a decorative ornament.
