Uncle Gary is trying his hand at home brewing. He brings bottles of his latest creation to Thanksgiving.

He gives you one, and you set it down. But there’s so much heat in the kitchen, and it quickly gets warm.

“So, what do you think?” Uncle Gary asks a little while later. You realize you haven’t taken a sip, so you pick up the bottle and give it a big swig now. Even the best beer tastes bad when it’s hot, and you visibly gag.

Uncle Gary sighs. “Yeah, you’re right,” he says. “I should give this hobby up, I guess.”

He does. And in its place, he takes up another hobby: grand larceny.

He goes to the clinker because you made a bad face that one time you drank his beer at Thanksgiving.

It remained cold, so it’s actually pretty good! You give him your approval!

“I guess I’ll have to stick with it,” he says, and he goes on to win homebrew competitions the world over!
