2-Pack: TYLT 24oz Power Bottle 2.0 with Wireless Charging Power Bank
Our Take
- Are they water bottles with power banks attached to them?
- Or power banks with water bottles attached to them?
- The answer is yes! (But mostly, they’re water bottles)
- Charge things wirelessly, or use the included USB-C cable which nests neatly inside the bottom
- Can they make a margarita: They can hold a margarita, and then charge your phone so you can be sure to send that text you regret when you’re a few margs in
Your Take
-
The container kept my drink at a reasonable temperature for many hours. The charger is fine - it’s only 5700mah - but that’s just an added bonus
-
Most golf carts still aren’t equipped with chargers and between tracking apps and streaming music, your phone battery can get pretty drained during a round of golf.
-
The only annoyance is that the water bottle is just a little too wide to fit comfortably in a cup holder.
A Bundle
Last time we sold these, @yakkoTDI commented:
Shockingly good deal!
And it might seem that way from the outside. But rest assured, if you worked for us, nothing would shock you less than a price like this! Does luck play a part in how we source such fantastic products at fantastic prices? Sure. But so does a lot of effort.
You see, our team has been working tirelessly to build a network of vendors who know they can call us when they have something that requires offloading for one reason or another. And you don’t build those kind of relationships overnight, no sir! It can take years to establish the kind of trust that–
Oh, wait.
This was just a joke, wasn’t it?
Because these things combine water and electricity?
Ah.
Still, they are really cheap. And yes, the combination is pretty stupid. But that’s if you look at them as a combination at all. As @agnesnutter pointed out, there’s a better way to market these altogether:
Or, it’s two water bottles and two portable batteries with USB-C and wireless charging, all for $20 total… if you put it like that, it’s kind of tempting
We love it!
It’s not two water bottles with detachable power banks. It’s a bottle and battery bundle! (And yes, we’re thankful to be working in text right now because that would be hard to say.)
Here’s the thing: you’ll probably use the water bottle part, and you might use the power bank part every now and then. Is that a ringing endorsement of these things? No. But, again, it’s 20 bucks for a two-pack. So even if you only use the power bank once every four months to keep your phone from dying on the bus ride home, it’s worth it.
Anyway, buy these if you need water bottles and/or power banks (but mostly water bottles).
Charge & Chug
You’re Charging Your Phone. Now Charge Yourself.
Here at Meh, you’ve got a water bottle that can also charge your phone. Over on SideDeal, we’ve got something to pour into that bottle: 72 sticks of Liquid Death Death Dust—an aggressively named, surprisingly legit hydration booster. Drop one in, mix it up, and suddenly you’re not just sipping water, you’re reviving your whole system. Electrolytes, flavor, and slightly unhinged branding—all included.
