Anyone else getting tired of the same old monsters. Dracula? More like Drab-ula! Zombies? A bunch of real zom-bozos! Werewolves? Get-the-hell-outta-here, wolves! Enough with the masked killers using gardening implements, with the typical ghosts and ghouls, and enough with the clowns! No, it’s about time we forge a bold new direction in horror. I’ve even roped in our own resident monster-sculptor @KoolHandJoe for his expert opinions on the matter. Let’s see what we’ve got.

A group of friends are messing around, tossing a ball back and forth. The fun comes to an abrupt halt when it rolls off into the forest. One of them hastily yells, “Nose goes!” Everybody begins to touch their noses without fail. All except for one. The one who didn’t merely sighs and accepts his fate. This archaic ritual, however, is not without its price. You see, the one who begins the ritual has an unfair advantage: they will never be chosen. It is an act of pure selfishness. Because of this, those who invoke “nose goes” may find themselves hunted by a vindictive being. This malefic spirit seeks to collect a toll they never intended to pay for a risk they never intended to take. And that price is… their nose.
