I wanted to say Taj, but then remembered it’s all about location in the landmark fantasy league. The Eiffel Tower may be 100% hype and not really worth your time, but it is in a very good location.
@baqui63@JoetatoChip Lol, I haven’t. The only version of Civilization I’ve played is the Avalon Hill board game which has nothing to do with lost World Wonders. I read about The Colossus as a kid and it fired my imagination, I’ve always wished I could see it.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have seen five of these in person. The Taj is the only one that moved me in an emotional way. Pictures absolutely do not do it justice.
The old oak tree. You’ll know it when you see it. If you turn left, you get to the interstate. Right, and you get to the center of town. If you get to the big red barn, you’ve gone too far. Turn around.
I will have to say The Statue of Liberty. The Eiffel Tower is up there too. Never seen them in person though. I would like to. I would like to see all of them on the poll choices and other ones too.
Mount Rushmore. I dunno how this league works but there’s no way I can go wrong with four giant stone faces.
@nogoodwithnames Easter Island has 877 giant stone faces.
@nogoodwithnames @sammydog01
Colorado has thousands of stoned faces.
The pyramids #1 Statue of Liberty #2
@tart3rd ditto

@rprebel That’s why I picked it. It’s always packed.
Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
@baqui63 The Colossus of Rhodes.
@baqui63 @moondrake I too have played Civilization V.

@JoetatoChip @moondrake Same here… well, partly… I’ve played either of them.
La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Mic drop…
@smkarizona when will it be finished?
@hchavers Supposed to be 2026. But, if it’s anything like the construction on my house…I’d guess 2043.
Mount Rushmore

@retswerb
That is amazing. I thought the Taj Mahal was one of the most picturesque landmarks. To think it looks better in person is unbelievable.
Gotta root for the local favorite and go with the Gateway Arch.

So many left off this list.
Stonehenge, Great Wall of China and Chichenitza are three I’ve visited, along with several from the list.
@moondrake Don’t say " great wall". I’m too easily triggered lately.

Definitely the oak tree.
And you can’t miss it with all those yellow ribbons.
Machu Picchu. Beautiful place and one place on earth the Alleged President won’t ever visit. I should go today!!
@mimsy Where’s Alleged? I can’t find it on my globe.
@mimsy @Willijs3

Personal reasons.
I will have to say The Statue of Liberty. The Eiffel Tower is up there too. Never seen them in person though. I would like to. I would like to see all of them on the poll choices and other ones too.
Hobbit land in New Zealand. All the rest of those places are real places, and this is a “Fantasy” league, no?
It’d have to be a Moai, because he’s been used as a video game boss more times than all the others combined.
@PocketBrain Gradius FTW
Are the giant redwoods in California considered a landmark? If they are, I’d go w/ those sight unseen.
The Brandenburg Gate, for the sheer amount of history that’s happened at it.

@somf69 what does Hawaiian pizza have to do with the question?
It would need to be something I’ve at least seen. I second Sagrada Familia. Gaudí is the bomb.
Mount Rushmore… grew up in Rapid City. Loved it up there!
Meh World Headquarters, of course!
Graceland Baby!
