No. Because the company that replaced the ice maker in our freezer is coming back out to try to figure out why this one isn’t making ice either. I am not happy about having to sit there answering the same damn questions over and over from some yahoo who can’t even keep his damn mask over his nose half the time.
@Pony
Wondering if the issue is before the ice maker, did they check for a crimp in the water line or maybe it’s frozen? I’ve seen such a gross incompetence of service workers since the pandemic started. Like you said, they can’t even keep themselves masked properly!! Maybe I shouldn’t blame it on the pandemic, that’s just when I started noticing it and it pisses me off! Good luck with getting automatic ice, it REALLY IS such a convenience!
@Lynnerizer OMG YES. We moved into this house just under five months ago, and have had tons of workers in and out fixing all kinds of stuff, painting, installing this and that, and my husband and I have both been completely blown away by how absolutely incompetent most of them have been.
@stolicat same! I had to put an alert on my phone. My husband usually handles it but he went from SAHD to school and working 60+ hours a week so we’ve missed it a couple times.
What the heck am I missing? What is going on tomorrow? My calendar says it is neither a holiday nor a weekend, not that either has me excited right now.
kind of! hockey returns tomorrow night after being paused for covid protocols. but if there was some actual/other underlying reason for this question i don’t know what that is and thus am not excited for it.
I’m more excited for Friday. I’m taking my kids to go visit my parents for the first time in over a year It’ll be a VERY LONG day though… work a full day then drive 7.5 hours to my parents. worth it though!
I am taking the day off work tomorrow. I get to do fun stuff like work on my taxes and shop for a new refrigerator and, if it doesn’t rain, do some yard work in hopes of containing the weeds before they rise up and take over all of Metropolis (and then the world!).
I have a 10 hour drive through round 2 of a system that just dumped 6 inches of rain yesterday. And my route is right along the front line, heavy rain expected for 6+ hours of the trip, right along the interstate I’m traveling on.
Welcome to hydroplane city. I just hope I don’t get stuck behind one of those “shutdown the interstate” accidents that adds another three hours to the trip.
Is there something going on tomorrow that I don’t know about?

@yakkoTDI sounds like an echo in here.
@cengland0 @yakkoTDI sounds like an echo in here.
Pretty sure it is still groundhog day of 3/13/2020 so nnnoooooo
Why? What are we going to do tomorrow night, Brain?
@narfcake

Always excited to see a new Meh offering. Which will happen tomorrow. So, yes, excited about tomorrow.
International Waffle day? Hell yeah! And a waff for you, and a waff for you…
https://www.wincalendar.com/Calendar/Date/March-25-2021
@ChompyGator This made me smile because ‘waff’ is one of many furry slang words for wolf.
@ChompyGator @PooltoyWolf
many? how many?
@ChompyGator @rogerbacon Replace the ‘o’ in ‘wolf’ with any other vowel. That many.
@ChompyGator @PooltoyWolf @rogerbacon “Wyff”? Pronounced like “wife”?
@ChompyGator @PooltoyWolf so then 4 and sometimes 5, gotcha
@Ambiverbal @ChompyGator @rogerbacon Note that ‘Y’ is only sometimes a vowel.
@ChompyGator @PooltoyWolf @rogerbacon …wouldn’t that be “walf”?
@ChompyGator @geekahedron @rogerbacon That one is also acceptable!
It’s week day and I work. Not a lot to get excited about until I retire or die.
@Evansdoor same
@Evansdoor @qmracer01
same as in “same here” or same as in “dying and retiring”???
Too soon for another mehrathon
@ironcheftoni
Unless they think it’s November and have 3 or 4! Wishful thinking, I know!
I know, right!
@ironcheftoni mehbe not, evidently.
Because tomorrow I meet my new dentist???
@smkarizona Best wishes for a great new dentist!
@smkarizona Funny, my father visits the dentist tomorrow.
@smkarizona My kids have dental appointments tomorrow
Will there be sun?
Tomorrow’s put out the garbage day - I hope that’s not metaphorical …
oh wait, I hope it’s not:

@stolicat Oh shit you’re right. I can NOT afford to miss another week, glad you said something. And that we have the same garbage day.
@stolicat same! I had to put an alert on my phone. My husband usually handles it but he went from SAHD to school and working 60+ hours a week so we’ve missed it a couple times.
@mbersiam @stolicat
we used to be able to roll the can to the street once a month or so until they stopped the local recycling program! sigh
What the heck am I missing? What is going on tomorrow? My calendar says it is neither a holiday nor a weekend, not that either has me excited right now.
I’m sure tomorrow is excited enough for itself. Why should I be excited for it?
I’m retired, every day is like yesterday…
Looking forward to a virtual event with one of my favorite authors, Lisa Scottoline
every day I wake up is another day I didn’t die.
@bayportbob How can you be sure? Asking for a friend.
kind of! hockey returns tomorrow night after being paused for covid protocols. but if there was some actual/other underlying reason for this question i don’t know what that is and thus am not excited for it.
Sure am excited. Tomorrow I get my first covid-19 vaccination.

Airing grievances? Wait, is it Festivus already? I don’t even have my pole up yet!

@gt0163c
you do know they pushed the IRS file date back to 5/17 right? So you have more time to procrastinate and hope they change it again…
@chienfou yes. I’m in Texas so I have until 15 June. But I still want to get them done and taken care of…one less thing to worry about.
I’m more excited about today, “National Cocktail Day” than tomorrow’s waffles!
I get my hair colored and cut tomorrow, I’m excited for you that.
@Star2236 What color are you going with?
@mbersiam
My red color, same as always.
Is Pasta Drop back tomorrow?
My parents only have 39lbs left from the 40lb shipment I sent them. They need a refill.
Tomorrow a friend flies in from out of town, so, yes.
No. Tomorrow I drink barium and don’t eat. Then I glow in the dark.
I have a 10 hour drive through round 2 of a system that just dumped 6 inches of rain yesterday. And my route is right along the front line, heavy rain expected for 6+ hours of the trip, right along the interstate I’m traveling on.

@mike808 best of luck! Drive safe!
March 25th marks the date when the One Ring was destroyed in the fires of Mount Doom - so, not really.
Another meh-a-thon. I’m doomed.
In hindsight, yesterday, I am excited for tomorrow today.
