But is anyone else having a problem where you only have like 5 seconds to checkout or the page reloads? I tried it on firefox and chrome. Before I could click the buy button the website refreshed the page. It did it twice to me in checkout. What’s going on with that?
a lot of their scripts are going batshit. probably from load-balancing in an attempt to keep up with the traffic. They’re averaging about 500-700 unique impressions every 2 minutes–which isn’t that much, I guess, but they’re also running their checkout system through it so who knows.
Yeah okay, you can click on anything you missed… but do the math.
1 item every 2 minutes. 30 items/hour.
By the time you wake up (assuming you only sleep 8 hours), you’ll have 240 missed clicks to catch up on. Assuming you streamline it (“middle click” to open a new tab), you’ll have 240 tabs open (good luck if you’re using Chrome) and 240 more clicks until you’re done with those clicks.
It took me 3 items to come to the conclusion that this is just a psyop to see how many people they can get hooked on meth by the end of this absolute insanity.![insanity][1]

@dvermilion I when back and clicked on all of the Meh buttons. Didn’t take that long. It was worth not going to work today to do it. Does that make me insane. I think not.
I have no idea why I did this. I am up to about 60 today. It is definitely a psi-op. They wear us down with compulsive clicking, then we will just click the buy button in our weakened state.
Huge Meh fan right here, however… I feel 50% of the items are off brand portable power packs, 25% is off brand or refurbished Bluetooth headphones/speakers, 10% bags that most people don’t want (but still buy), 10% average priced kitchenware, and the remaining 5% are treasure boxes that sell out in seconds… it’s almost like going to a garage sale and hoping you find something good, but most days ya just leave with a crusty butter dish because you don’t wanna leave empty handed. I still have a blast. Happy hunting!
@JBJB there were some on brand portable power packs, quite good ones, that I didn’t buy only because I already own one and it’s enough, no way I need 2 more.
/giphy mind blown
Really? I might just go to bed then.
WHA?!?!?
You mean, just for the Meh-rathon missed clicks? Or for other missed clicks also?
@f00l looks like just from the mehrathon I missed clicking on Wednesday by 5 min after finally reaching about 260 days.
@f00l Just mehraton
@ivannabc I feel your pain. I missed a click last week, broke my longest streak yet. 520 days. I pouted hard.
@QuietDelusions Story checks out. That sucks.
@QuietDelusions that 250+ was my longest. I was hoping for a year :(**
@f00l @ivannabc 1548 here.
The pressure is off.
@f00l @ivannabc That should be a VMP benefit - being able to back click.
@f00l @lisaviolet holy Jiminy cricket!!! That’s a long freaking time. That sucks!
So like… what’s the links?
@kruzen Hit the “click to see all the deals button” on the home page
@kruzen Just go to the product pages. (Forum post, click on big image.)
I can’t even see mine
https://meh.com/forum?category=deals&sort=date-created
I hope this link works, but otherwise it’s the pink ad-like thing front page.
Love it
You can also click the meh button on them all… i still haven’t figured out the point of that yet, if there even is one
@techpawpad There isn’t one…yet some crazy people just insist on doing it anyway…
@Raider I know meh keeps track of it for whatever reason, says about it in your profile and stuff.
@techpawpad What kind of person would ever try for a long streak?!
@Raider The same type of person who checks this site daily ?
But is anyone else having a problem where you only have like 5 seconds to checkout or the page reloads? I tried it on firefox and chrome. Before I could click the buy button the website refreshed the page. It did it twice to me in checkout. What’s going on with that?
@MeatyYoker It’s probably because your system clock is different than the clocks Meh uses. Check your system’s time on https://time.gov/
Thanks for the pro tip. Officially today I have more meh clicks than days I’ve been a member. Not sure if proud or disappointed with myself.
@evantribley
@evantribley Congratulations, you’re now a meh-rathon runner.

Some of them say “too late it’s over” though.

@Jetlag Yea same, I don’t even get to see some of these deals and they’re gone. I wonder how people are actually buying them
@Jetlag @techpawpad
I wonder if the slash-buy thing works?
@Jetlag @joelmw @techpawpad
The slash-buy thing does NOT work during Mehrathons. Sorry.
@Jetlag but on the second one they only had one to sell apparently as they only sold one.

@dvermilion except the m(e)(a)th doesn’t hold true anymore. The first batches were 2 minutes. They’ve been all over the board of lengths since.

You can only go back up to a point… sold out deals you cant score the clicks
You can click on items that weren’t sold out and you can buy those items still so that’s kind of cool. Lets you click on the buy it button. Nifty!

@pmarin over 100 clicks. It’s fine.
/giphy laughs maniacally
@pmarin @RiotDemon I just got 100 clicks and it’s just flashing at me with no animation. MAKE IT STOP!
@pmarin @RiotDemon @sammydog01 106 myself
Anyone looking for a nice list of the not-sold-out items to catch up on their missed meh face clicks can just go here:

Thanks, @dave.
All in a nice dynamically generated list …
For you to click on.

Looks like a Speaker Dock Friday is back but no knives?!
VMP BS
@whobuysthis Tell that to the people who have been paying for VMP for years.
@RiotDemon @whobuysthis
Meh VMP calls out to our innate supreme stupidity; and we love that
