@PlacidPenguin everything they’ve been selling in the Gourmet section seems overpriced by 2x. Not bad stuff, just really expensive.

I’ve been looking at this for the past week or so. Not this particular model, but just aerogarden in general. I suck at keeping things alive, and have heard good things. I don’t do herbs (even on 4/20), but I’d use it for salad. Trying my hand at container growing this year. Hmmmmm

Not if one does not have a farmer’s market near them.
@narfcake Yeah, I’m not sure the savings is what I’m after though. I’d be able to have fresh salad, pretty much on demand, whenever I wanted, year round. Local farmers market is pretty small, I’ve never seen much that I actually wanted there. Plus, I’d look at it more of a hobby with the benefit of getting some food out of it. My daughter is currently learning about plants etc in daycare, and I’m sure she would love it.
Apparently home depot had a sale on these yesterday which was was a much better value. If I saw it, I would have probably purchased then. I might just wait and see if the seeds I started a few days ago take off, and go from there.
