Just wanted to ask. Let's say at around Christmas, will Meh put out cookie cutters and christmas lights? Or masks for Halloween? Or razors for no-shave November, although that would make no sense whatsoever.
My guess is that they'll sell items based on the time of year, but they'll be from whatever holiday was a month before (Christmas decorations in January, Halloween stuff in November, etc).
Maybe they will sell us Russel Stover chocolate from the previous holiday at cheap prices? That stuff is good and I no longer live near an outlet store.
Offering seasonal deals based on the time of year? That's not meh at all. This company was built on the backs of those too ambivalent to care. To change now would be a betrayal of their small, unfocused fanbase.
I kind of hope they don't go this route. Shipping has ranged from fairly quick to extremely slow; I'd be leary of ordering anything that was a time sensitive holiday item. With the things I've bought so far, it's been impulse buys I wouldn't have bought otherwise, except the deal was too good to pass up. Therefore, shipping speed wasn't really an issue one way or another.
I kind of hope they do the opposite. Sell swim suits and bbq grill stuff in the dead of Winter. Sell sweaters and Christmas lights in May. I promise you, it's a solid strategy*.
Can we define 'seasonal items'? I mean, I get somethings are seasonal--beach balls, for example, are damned silly in the winter. A snowball maker might not have a summer use. But some 'seasonal' items just aren't. Egg Nog could be enjoyed round. Fans are useful any time of the year.
If we are going for off-season, I'll put my two cents in. I'm in for summer stuff in the winter. I'm especially looking for lifejackets hint hint hint! I am in for another maybe speaker dock, ha ha, I think I'm tapped out on that one! Christmas, I think it's handled !

Or holdiay themes candy? Like Christmas MnM's in February?
REESE'S. TREES.

Not that we would care, or anything.
Well, considering today's National Chocolate Chip Day Purple Power Bank, I'd say the answer to this should have been obvious.
Considering every day is a National something day, we're just going to say it's whatever we're selling that day Day.
Today is National Cedar Grilling Plank Day!
We need holiday stuff half a year before the holiday! Start selling Christmas trees meh!

*not really, but it'll piss some people off
I would like off season. First, its cheaper already then add the MEH discount and people will throw money at their screens for hammocks in january
Agree with both of you. Pissing peiple off and saving money. Halloween costumes in April?
I believe meh could sell out 10,000 sacks of poo if it was sold for under $10....
@IBMgrunt Like toy poo? Or sacks of crap/useless items?
