@chienfou I didn’t fly for many years. Had to try it again. One airport I had to go from Terminal E to Terminal D, and it used to have the electric walkways but all were removed for remodeling. The sign said walk 12 minutes which turned out to be accurate.
Then at final destination I was in a new terminal but remodeling was still going on for phase 2 of their project so a very long walk there too. And I didn’t have a bag with wheels because last flight was on a budget airline.
EDIT TL;DR might go back to driving across the country as I’ve done for 15 years. Takes me about 6 days. One reason was I had a cat but don’t have him anymore . Also during Covid was easy to stay isolated.

I have vivid memories of the old Denver airport. First time I had flown anywhere and I had a 3 year old in tow. And there were no glideways. And I had 3 carryones and the offspring. And connecting flight was in another terminal.
It has been 42+ years and I do not think I will ever forget that dash.
“On the grid”… with 37+ gadgets.
I didn’t.
@yakkoTDI same here, why!
@yakkoTDI Me three. I have too many power banks now, and these would not provide me with any advantage over what I’ve already got.
Depending on the manufacturing origin, these could potentially be leveraged as IEDs.

@kuoh But perhaps not yet at the level required for fishing in the lake at Vorkosigan Surleau.
@werehatrack This your idea of fishing?

Lately it seems like more and more airports I’ve gone to are in some stage of remodeling/expansion construction and none of the seat outlets work.
