I haven’t seen that many HBO shows, I guess, but I loved nearly every character on Boardwalk Empire.
Three favorites were…
Michael Shannon - Nelson Van Alden
Michael Stuhlbarg - Arnold Rothstein
Gretchen Mol - Gillian Darmody
Note: minus the horrendous violence which always seemed so unnecessary. The only no-redeeming-qualities character on the show I can think of was Margaret’s son Teddy. (And OMG, William Forsythe as Manny Horvitz!! What a long road it was from Evelle in Raising Arizona, eh?)
@ruouttaurmind she was incredible in that difficult role. Obviously a terrible, scheming, vindictive person – but with such a past, how could she not be? I had sympathy for her throughout, her tenacity and ingenuity were unreal.
@mtb002@RiotDemon I’ve never seen True Blood but I feel pretty confident the show never featured the characters Larry David or Omar so…wrong eight. Also I think you might be overestimating the popularity of this actor or I am just clueless, haha. I know he isn’t him but he looks like Peter Petrelli from Heroes.
