Which is the best drones for newbies?
0Hello, I am a newbie to buying drones and I would love to hear your inputs regarding this one. I am new to this one and it’s going to be my first time buying one. I love taking pictures and I am studying photography as of the moment. My mom is asking me what I want for Christmas and I am not quite sure if I will tell her I would love to have a quadcopter. Is this not too advanced for me, since I am still a student and not really a pro? I read something about quadcopters.
Can you help me choose which one to buy and how will I go through about it?
Thank you so much.

Go cheap and lightweight so that you don’t have to register. And if you’re in the US please research the regulations and if you have a smart phone get one of the applications to know if you are allowed to fly in the area you’re looking to fly in. If you’re outside the states check for local laws and regulations. Fly responsibly…and as fast as you feel safe
Start with this: http://www.banggood.com/Syma-X5C-Explorers-2_4G-4CH-RC-Quadcopter-Mode-2-With-Camera-p-913827.html?rmmds=search.
Fly it. A lot.
@samanthabaker, +1 for the Syma X5C. I have one as well. It was my first camera drone and you just can’t bet it for the price. If you were looking for something even less expensive, consider the Syma X1. No camera, but super lightweight and a great flier.
@samanthabaker, @fultonmartin, Newegg has the Syma X5C on sale for $29 for the next couple days. But don’t wait… they tend to sell out quickly: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2EY2R36510&utm_medium=Email&utm_source=IGNEFL120616&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL120616--EMC-120616-Index--RCVehiclesRobotsToys-_-9SIA2EY2R36510-S1A1A&ignorebbr=1
