Which is the best drone for newbies?

Hello, I am a newbie to buying drones and I would love to hear your inputs regarding this one. I am new to this one and it’s going to be my first time buying one. I love taking pictures and I am studying photography as of the moment. My mom is asking me what I want for Christmas and I am not quite sure if I will tell her I would love to have a quadcopter. Is this not too advanced for me, since I am still a student and not really a pro? I read something about quadcopters here: http://flying-drones.expert/best-quadcopter-with-camera-2/

Can you help me choose which one to buy and how will I go through about it?

Buy a toy quad first! Dirt cheap, and you can learn to fly (even indoors) without worrying about breaking your expensive quad. Because you will crash. A lot.

First learn to fly line of sight, and then later upgrade to the better stuff with FPV and all.

I’m a fan of the linkspam 350. It’s a good size and tasty when fried. But swap out the props for better ones, the ones that come with it are like plastic butter knives.

I bought one of these and love it. Extra props are cheap, although I have yet to break one of the originals and I’m a terrible pilot. Flying over grass seems to help! You can also buy packages of larger capacity batteries with a charger that does them all at once. I go to the park with about 5 fully charged batteries in my pocket and am good for about an hour (sometimes less, sometimes more).
