I go with a slim wallet for my cards/ID in my left front pocket and a money clip for my bills in my right front pocket. I stuff my back pockets with gummy bears.
I get to be different this time, hooray! I keep my wallet in my jacket pocket 99% of the time. And yes, I do wear a jacket constantly despite living in Florida - I get everywhere by motorcycle, and wear a lot of gear.
In my bra, of course…duh.
Not so much a wallet, just ID, a CC, and an emergency bill in between.
Pockets in women’s clothes are a sick joke perpetrated by the purse industry.
I’ve been on the slim wallet / front pocket train for about ten years or so. Couple years back I got the Decadent Minimalist DM1 [1] from Kickstarter and it’s my all time fave.
I keep a couple of larger bills in a small money clip, but I’m not really a cash kinda guy, so that’s just emergency funds. Like for a quick drink at a busy bar.
Or the casino after too many quick drinks at same said bar.

When I was in middle school (about the time I first had need for a wallet), my mom worked for a chiropractor. He told me to save myself a lifetime of discomfort, and never put my wallet in my back pocket - so I never have.
They don’t make a lot of nice-looking pants with actual pockets for women. I use a purse out of obligation. At least most of my purchases are online now.
I carry a metal wallet in my back pocket. I refuse to buy ladies clothes that don’t have normal pockets. I’m not about to start carrying a purse. Fuck that.
I like that I can customize them. They don’t last forever, but they last a lot longer than traditional wallets for me. When I’m ready for a new one, I deliberate for a long time about what photo I want on it.
My current version:
@RiotDemonSo is it sort of like a cigarette case?It says it’s a cigarette case in description. I read good. Also, I definitely had to look at the eBay page. At this hour of the day, my half awake brain thought you were suggesting you carried a velvet painting in your back pocket.
@hanzov69 haha. Yeah, it could hold cigarettes. I guess that was the original purpose of these things. One of the first ones I ever bought many years ago actually came with a matching lighter… Which I didn’t even need since I don’t smoke.
I like it because it holds just the right amount of stuff. If I try to put too much, I can’t close it, so it forces me to keep it pared down.
It’s also nice if I get caught in the rain. Keeps everything dry. No more soggy wallet.
In my back pocket; I used to carry a thick tri-fold, but I cleaned it up and stopped carrying stuff like loyalty cards (The Beep-n-go app holds those now), and moved to a bifold, which is much thinner. Co-workers used to joke that I had a “George Costanza” wallet. No more!
Another slim shady here, with a low-profile wallet/money clip combo, front right pocket. Leaves the left open for my phone. I have such a perfect ass, I’d hate to ruin those clean lines with that back-pocket nonsense. You guys get it.
No wallet but a money clip with my ID and debit cards in my front right pocket. I keep an old wallet with store loyalty cards (and my library card) in the car.
I keep my actual wallet in the car glove box with membership, loyalty, backup credit cards and insurance. I have a stick-on card holder adhered to the back of my phone case where my primary credit card, driver’s license, VIP (local discount) card and a crisp $20 fit nicely. I carry my phone in my right front pocket. It’s made of stretchy rubber that allows you to work cards in and out then holds them tightly. $5.99, sticks like crazy, extremely convenient.
@f00l Might be one of those boob wallet parking spots. The amount of stuff some of my students store there is pretty amazing… and also what happens to some of them when they lean over (not even counting the wardrobe malfunctions with that).
Pocket knife & keys in my front pockets; fairly slim bifold in my back pocket. Occasionally need a handkerchief in the other back pocket. Phone clips to my belt or other pockets

My grandfather taught us to always carry a pocket knife. If you don’t have one (or a small multitool), you’re doing it wrong
Normally it lives in the phone pouch in my Tom Bihn Cadet. If I’m going inside without the bag and will be sitting down I put it in a coat pocket. If I’m going inside and will be standing up (like at the Temples concert tonight) I’ll put it in my back pocket.
I use a super-slim leather business card holder with my ID and one credit card on one side, and a couple of business cards on the other. Cash is folded into the middle. So keeping it in my back pocket is not usually a problem.
Though I do have a posterior deficiency, so I put it in my desk drawer when I’m in the office. Otherwise it will begin to irritate my bony backside after a few hours.

Warm and soft
@zachdecker Ecofriendly way of making a giant gummy ameba

I usually forget my wallet in my car.
Word of advise: don’t look in my car, for money, because there is never any in my wallet.

@hanzov69 I’m going to have to look into that. Thanks!

These are the ones I get.

Ah, Florida. Such memories of being unexpectedly wet.

Supposedly the front pocket is harder for pickpockets to get to
@kaighintze Likewise. Front pocket and a shirt that’s long enough to cover the said pocket.

@ACraigL You could round it out with gummy bears
@2many2no Boom!
If I’m wearing a jacket, I put it in a jacket pocket (preferably inside pocket)
Otherwise, if I’m wearing pants, I put it in a front pants pocket (preferably, right front pocket)
Otherwise, I put it on a lanyard and hang it around my neck
Not telling you exactly where I keep it, but definitely neither of these options. Daymn, am I so special to be the outlier in almost every poll?

You really don’t want to know. Lets just say it’s safe.
@mfladd
Something to do with your yoga skills?

What exactly do you plan to do with this information, Meh?
@DVDBZN Considering that they have your address… could be anything. Of course they also have our purchase patterns so some of us might be safe LOL
@DVDBZN if you see mediocrebot approach you, secure your wallet.

Where do you hide your keys when you go out? When do you plan to be on vacation? What is your address?
