I really want it to be my garden, but my success rate with that over the past 15 years has not been sufficient to break dependence on the grocery store.
Time is expensive, and a garden takes lot of time (and patience). Farmer’s market, when it is open, and grocery store most other times.
Where does flea market, festival, and open market fit? They’re kinda a hybrid farmer’s market, I guess. Homemade apple butter and local honey are always great finds.
