So, in the last FUKU I got a really nice SONY speaker dock. I love it, the sound is great, no issues. Now me, I'm the kinda guy that likes to keep things simple, so I went out and bought a ipod 7th Gen Nano today. My old SONY MP3 player ended up in the Laundry last month, so I needed a new MP3 player, so I figured, buy the compatible player for the dock. Seriously, what a clusterfuck. I forgot how much I hate Apple and why I never had an iphone, ipad, mac or anything else. All I wanted to do was sync some music off my laptop on to the nano and then, when I had to, delete some music. I've just wasted a good 3 hours doing nothing but getting frustrated. Damn you speaker dock....

So what should I be looking for? I know I can go easy and connect a regular mp3 player through the back of the unit, but is there a cord/connector that plugs into the itouch receptacle on the sony speaker dock that allows me to plug into the regular mp3 player

- @somf69 I doubt there would be a Lightning to audio connector cable anywhere. Sorry the nano was a disaster - I'd have thought that you would install iTunes, do the "add folder to library" and tell iTunes where your mp3 are keep, and iTunes then magically sees them. Then you could make playlists, plug in the nano (PC must install drivers) and sync. Mr Pamtha also struggles with iPods, and it's cause he refuses to use them as Apple intended. If you are going to be assimilated, just embrace your new fruity overlords.

- Never was a fan of the whole Apple way. I love the technology, but you should not have to jump through so many hoops to listen to you own music. I returned it and bought a nice Sony mp3 player

I'm guessing your computer is not a mac. Maybe if you went and bought one of those, you would be happy to work w/ the iPod. I mean, what's a thou or so to match up w/ a free speaker dock ?
