Usually collect a bunch of boxes. Spend weeks packing all my stuff. Rent a moving truck. Place all my belongings in rented truck. Drive truck to new location. Unload all my belongings. Return rental truck. Settle in to my new location until it’s time to move again.
@cinoclav Hahaha I came her to say that. You beat me to it. Two moves ago I had around 10 days to find a place to live, pack and move. I much prefer the “spend weeks” version of it. Packing is much more sane then, boxes better organized and labeled and more time to go through things to get rid of excess.
Since my terrible car accident I get these cravings to run. I broke both legs & ankles in multiple places and shattered my hip resulting in several fusions. (I only mentioned the injuries below my waist) It’s a craving just like one of those food cravings that won’t go away until satisfied or comparable to having a song stuck in your head playing over an over. All as I have to hold on to is the memory of being new to my physical therapy program and having three aids surrounding me while on the treadmill. I went from a walk into a trot and then onto a light jog. It was the best feeling ever and the happy tears just flowed down my cheeks uncontrollably. I’d love to have that feeling again…
@Lynnerizer I am so glad to hear that you are progressing in your recovery from what sounds like was a horrific accident that you must have been lucky to live though. I hope you continue to progress so that you can go back to running and doing other things you enjoyed before this happened.
Load some clothes in the car, roll out of the garage with the lights off after midnight, ditch the plates and ID after crossing the state line, put on new car tags and pull out my second set of ID cards …
I clean the house.
Play BeatSaber!
Sit on my ass anyway. I have no idea what the fuck you’re even talking about, Meh…
Stand up. The feeling quickly goes away and I sit/lay down again.
When I feel like I just need to move, then I just quit not-moving.
When I feel like I just need to move, I press the “On” button then push the joystick in the direction I wish to move.
How am I the first to post this…? Ya slackers…
Go shopping
Close my eyes and hold my breath until the feeling goes away.
Work.
Go to the bathroom; that usually constitutes enough movement to satisfy the rare urge to move in meatspace more than I’m already required to.
Turn to the other side

@cinoclav Based on merely seeing the poll question before seeing the choices, I momentarily did think that was the type of “moving” that was meant.
