@Einherjar13 Same here. I'm usually pretty regular on kickstarter and have funded my share of projects that made history. I wish I had found out about meh during the kickstarter.
306 days. . . read an article somewhere about how meh.com was getting created and the whole woot/amazon/octopus thing and wondered how I missed the start-up. . so after many days of clicking woot, i'm here clicking and the meh's have followed. great site and doing deals which are actually deals.
One year ago, exactly. By chance I saw an article that was posted on FB talking about how @snapster pulled an "Oops, I did it again". Wish I had heard about the kickstarter!
I visited day one - I made my account / username ahead of launch over @ mediocre - I wanted the username which was the deal of the day project codename and I got lucky and it was available. I missed the K badge by a day or two, I don't remember how long exactly - we were on assignment and deep into a film project and I was tuned into that really closely for a while. My account status today says "YOU'VE BEEN MEDIOCRE FOR 374 DAYS" - I'm on CDT, it'll say 375 days in 15 minutes.
Apparently I've been mediocre for 365 days. But I don't remember being here day 1... I do remember the soap dispensers. And I do remember kicking myself for not doing kickstarter. I can't remember if I saw it there and everything was sold out of if I saw it there a few hours too late and it had already paid out/closed rewards.
I've been meh for 315 days. I really wish I'd known about the kickstarter - I definitely would have been a supporter right away. Happy Birthday meh friends.
After all this time I am still confused at when is the best time to check out meh. Like today, I check it out at 6:30 EST and I still find the item sold out. meh. It's still the number one site to see.
I seem to have hit the mathematical limit for 16-bit integers because it's been this way for a while now. WTF @shawn, aren't you guys on 64-bit architecture??
A couple weeks after Meh launched, I saw someone on woot allude to there being some new better thing the original creators had made. Now I've been mediocre for 349 days.
379 days of mediocrity. I'm still confused why I gave @snapster money to start a new website to make it easier for me to give him more money, but I did get a meh shirt with a K on it. So I'm also paying to advertise for him...
Mid August last year I stumbled on an article about Matt linked in slick deals. I checked and they were selling a lot of sunglasses whenever that was. Bought the first shirt when offered. Really wish I heard about it back in the kickstarter days. I would have been all over it :(
332 days. Saw a link to meh on the Cnet Cheapskate and was instantly forlorn that I hadn't known before that.
Another time I was still rounding the turn when everyone else had already hit the straightaway, just like today when the Fuku sold out in like 30 damn seconds!
@JonT why didn't the site crash when I needed it? I guess I have only @Starblind to blame for that.
Oh well, at least I got the T-shirt yesterday.
Happy Birthday meh! and always continue to keep us all entertained and my office filled with junk.
I joined Meh on Thursday, September 25, 2014 (287 days ago as of this post). My guess is that I was aware of you a few days before that, and yet, somehow oblivious to the whole kickstarter thing despite being a very active Woot person.
My first purchase, however, was not until December 20th. Not sure what the hell I was doing before that. Lucky for me I've gotten every Fuku/o (all 3) since then, and three shirts I REALLY like (subtle meh, big M, and the birthday shirt).
It says 340 days. But I think I saw it before I signed up, but didn't join because I didn't want to buy the item. Then I forgot about it until I saw it mentioned again on Woot, then I started visiting regularly. I didn't buy until a month after I joined though. I'll blame it on back to school expenses.
I heard about meh through my little local news station's site back in November. They did a piece on low priced Christmas gifts and meh was one of the places mentioned. The toccs, alas they were just ok. The meh lives on.
So - I love my Meh socks - and since I am a midwesterner that never has seemed to hit the fuku jackpot - how about another pair of socks?? LOL -- oh and happy mehversary. ;)
@dashcloud Hey there!! :) I do miss it. It's a great community. I've been busy working but need to stop using that as an excuse. If I have time to mess around metal detecting/playing video games sometimes, I have time for Meh!
269 days for me. Seems like I'm a rare one here who heard about meh from a real-life person. I was complaining about woot to a friend and they sent me here!
@weenradio Goat, is that you?
@melwin Yup.
YOU'VE BEEN MEDIOCRE FOR 196 DAYS
I saw the free vmp posted to slickdeals in the winter and wondered how I missed the kickstarter for this. Been here since
@Einherjar13 Same here. I'm usually pretty regular on kickstarter and have funded my share of projects that made history. I wish I had found out about meh during the kickstarter.
It was dark that night. The rain was beating on the window like a student loan officer who knew I was really home.....
I've been meh 359 days.

I heard about the Kickstarter, made a note of it, then promptly forgot until some time in like November.
@boc Aw, we're almost twins
Mediocre for 667 days. Meh for 367.
I must admit…some of you have me beat.

YOU'VE BEEN MEDIOCRE FOR 665 DAYS. Drat @thumperchick beat me by 2 days. Figures. I was suspicious of the original Amazon sign up. ( As one should be)
I've been mediocre for decades, but only 354 in this context.
I probably visited meh.com for the first time sometime in the late 90's, when I was looking for 3-letter .com domains, does that count?
@awk Same. Visited before meh even owned it. Used to dabble in domains, I didn't start soon enough, though.
I guess we see which deity helped me score my Fuku tonight.
I've been meh for 365 days. I read about it on One Foot Tsunami and signed right up.
320 days, a month and a half short, sorry guys
358 days. so close. but no day one cigar for me

I didn't even know about it until I saw a link to meh on wootstalker last fall. I blame you all. But mostly the goat.
After all this time I am still confused at when is the best time to check out meh. Like today, I check it out at 6:30 EST and I still find the item sold out.
meh.
It's still the number one site to see.
I've been Mediocre for 666 days, I got the Kickstarter fuku, every shirt EXCEPT YESTERDAY and every fuku EXCEPT THE ONE MOTHER FUCKERS
I'm on a terrible sad sad streak
BEEN MEDIOCRE FOR 662 DAYS
Not sure how long for meh. I think I joined the first week.
I seem to have hit the mathematical limit for 16-bit integers because it's been this way for a while now. WTF @shawn, aren't you guys on 64-bit architecture??

WHAT IS THIS STRANGE MIND CONTROL?

Think I'll hang around a bit longer.

Mediocre - 667 days. VMP - August. Zero Day T-shirt - July 8th. Is that Meh? Can't find Kickstarter.
So - I love my Meh socks - and since I am a midwesterner that never has seemed to hit the fuku jackpot - how about another pair of socks?? LOL -- oh and happy mehversary. ;)
YOU'VE BEEN MEDIOCRE FOR 668 DAYS.
I have the Meh socks, every shirt, and have scored every Fuku. I've also been a VMP since it started. I am a giant sucker for Meh.
Edit I guess I was a little late on VMP membership.
@ABitterWoman You should stick around on the forums more.
@dashcloud Hey there!! :) I do miss it. It's a great community. I've been busy working but need to stop using that as an excuse. If I have time to mess around metal detecting/playing video games sometimes, I have time for Meh!
I showed up when the free VMP popped up on slickdeals. Been a regular lurker / occasional poster / always Kidfoot fan since.
269 days for me. Seems like I'm a rare one here who heard about meh from a real-life person. I was complaining about woot to a friend and they sent me here!
Mediocre 577 days... I still want to know what rat number I was...
