I’m having Ballpark angus franks on potato buns with smoked gouda cheese, bread and butter pickles, seared onions and deli mustard out on the screen porch.

Two burger king classic hot dogs. They aren’t too bad and it drives the ‘chicago dog’ people at work crazy 'cause they have ketchup on them. I was going to go to the best hot sandwich shop in a nearby burb but its Monday and they were closed…
@ruouttaurmind Thanks! Next time though I’m upgrading to a place with Vienna beef dogs. I’ll have some ketchup packets with and top off those dogs properly.
@cinoclav I’m fine with mustard. Just seeing all the hatred and intolerance for one of the finest of condiments for use on a hot dog makes me just have to use ketchup all the more.
@cranky1950 Believe it or not I graduated all the way up to eating whole hot dogs. On buns. With my hands, sometimes while walking instead of in the high chair. My Mom would be so proud of me. She and Dad liked ketchup on their hot dogs too, and they taught us the joy of not dissing the IDIC of the American Hot Dog.
Finally made it to the great sandwich shop yesterday. Beef tri-tip sandwich on toasted texas toast, with fried onions (not from a can) and mild BBQ sauce in the sandwich, along with some of the best fries available in the burbs.
@elimanningface I often wonder at the ratio of student to full time worker to part time worker to retired to independently wealthy so don’t have to work to unemployed but trying to layabout slacker in their parents’ basement…
@hems79 I don’t smoke, just describing an ol southern meat and 3 diner on steroids. They’re open 24 7 and the parking lot is always busy. They have great desserts too. We’re gonna make a midnight run down there for hot fudge chocolate ice cream cake and coffee.
I got high and forgot to eat. Then I forgot what I ate when I got the munchies. Prolly carbs. I’ve been chill about healthy carbs lately. Dunno if that will last . . .

@duodec You are not alone in this fight. I’m not a big mustard fan, therefore I too suffer the wrath of the haters and put ketchup on my hot dogs.

Today I had 3 frozen Tyson breaded chicken patties microwaved and placed between 2 flour tortillas with some hickory brown sugar bbq sauce.
It was ok.
