@shahnm It’s surprising to me how many people look at me and say, “Never? Like, never ever?” Weird times, home slice. Glad not to be the only one though. I’ll drink beer, but, shrug
@ThatsHeadly Yeahhhhh, I don’t need any sort of herbal supplements to help me go through a whole box of those in a day. Especially if they’ve been in the freezer.
My only “funny” story about getting high was about fifteen years ago. I played trumpet at the time, so my lung capacity was pretty good. I held every hit until it came back around, so for about half an hour, almost all of what I was breathing was smoke. Then I giggled a lot and ate a box of Poptarts. That’s pretty much it.
Every time since then has involved a panic attack, and I never was super crazy about the stuff anyway, so it’s been years since I last gave it a go. I’m not anti by any means - legalize away - but it’s most definitely not for me.
@dannybeans I understand the panic attack, maybe its an aging thing, maybe it’s the strain. Anyway, it’s partly why I never ever do it except for a couple times when I’m in a safe and secure place. and there’s ice cream handy …
It is amazing the variations of snacks that get invented to feed one’s cravings. I tend towards chili, adding whatever ingredients get found in the fridge or cupboard. Meat, different beans, chili powder, corn, lentils, carrots, or whatever is found.
the thing about getting high is that you get hungry but you don’t do anything about it. i can remember coming home late and when it was finally wearing off making myself huge peanut butter and jelly sandwiches tho. i also distinctly remember one instance in which i had a particular craving for mashed potatoes.
now drunk munchies on the other hand, that’s where food is really dangerous. the will and the means to put away a ton of food. 7-11 potato salad, string cheese, and tacquitos are all things i gravitate toward. also a bacon omelette and hash browns if someone has gotten me to an ihop. ben & jerrys also used to be a popular grab for me but now i only crave sugar when i’m hungover.
It’s been over 20 years and I only did it a few times. I remember demolishing the cheese popcorn from one of those Christmas tins. Two handed fistfuls and a lot of laughing. I couldn’t get enough.
I don’t partake of the herbs (believe it or not), but I’d pretty much eat any of that anytime. Crappy food is my drug of choice, I guess.
And alcohol.
@shahnm Same here.

@MagnaVis @shahnm And “it’s just not my thing” never seems to be a sufficient answer.
@dannybeans bro, THANK YOU. For real. I wish I had more stars to give.
I don’t use “special herbal supplements” or their relatives, but I often crave chocolate or pizza (NOT for the same snack).
Good quality dark chocolate is my weakness.
No gummy bears option?
No “herbal supplements” for me.
Nothing.
I don’t use.
Never have.
@Nate311 Any Little Debbie snack will do.
More comments about not using herbal supplements than the type of food. Meh missed another obivious survey answer.
I have never used special herbal supplements. But I like all the food choices like someone else said.
Thin Mints cookies.

I have never ever used herbal supplements either except for those couple of times and then I ate a whole lot of dark chocolate ice cream.
Chocolate chip cookies.
So many here who don’t blaze. I was convinced I was the only one.

So I guess my answer is Poptarts.

Haven’t imbibed in the doobage since the 70s. But, like the others, I still like food.

I get beer munchies. Maybe it’s the hops. That’s as close as I’ve ever gotten to herbal supplements.
oooh, ohhh, oooh, I do put fresh mint in my tea, that supplements my tea with herbs, maybe.
but I don’t get ice tea munchies.
but pizza is always an option, regardless of my herbal state.
Sex
@somf69 Yeeeessss. Tell us more… (nudge nudge wink wink)
@enville @somf69 A nod is as good as a wink to a blind bat.
Tragically, I can’t find out until certain federal laws change (or my job does).
For my s/o it actually is gummy bears. Guess I gotta buy these.
@jmoor783 LOL, this is one of my favorite movies.
Breakfast Cereal With Milk. You defeat two side effects with this.
No herbal (nor non herbal) supplements for me either. Good ice cream and good chocolate are my two weaknesses.
