Imma say Dr. Doom and an honorable, or possibly dishonorable, mention for the Fantastic Four for that clusterfuck they dared call a movie from last fall.
@f00l@elimanningface@blaineg Problem is, he used an ACME "Call For Help" emergency communication device. And we all know how well that ACME shit works.
For a title role? Catwoman. Overall? Deadpool in Wolverine: Origins, hands-down. I know it's practically cliche to say that at this point, but it's true.
@FroodyFrog there's a lot of somethings about it. It is one of those movies that constantly reminds to ask "How did no one stop this from being made?" I yet to hear someone who worked on it say they enjoyed it. Most say something like "I knew it was bad, but I was under contract"
@FroodyFrog Yeah, it was just bad. I don't even know that it's the "treatment" of the character that bothers me, it's just a terrible movie. Fortunately I just don't even remember much of it. Was probably not in my right mind at the time, if you know what I mean.
Well the last Lex Luthor was truly the worst shit ever. Painful to watch.
But seeing how I just happen to be watching the awful Fantastic Four movie from last year, I'm voting for them. The other movies also failed them. This is the original freaking superhero team, why can't anyone do them justice?
In all fairness to Fox, you simply can't capture the essence of the Fantastic Four in a single film, and when the first one falls flats, as expected, the second will flounder even worse. We really need a TV series to get it right. Really, FF is the sitcom of the Marvel Universe, with the worries about bills and the antics, especially when you add the kids. Sure it's all blown out of proportion, but that's what you expect from superheroes.
@CoBlizz I will say this: The sequel looks AWESOME. They brought in the character people want to see, and it appears they tried to stayed truer to the original cartoon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Multiple Man. I always found him intriguing. Relegated to a cut-from-the-theatrical-release 2-second cameo in X-men 3. Maybe it wasn't cut... it was a short scene, though.

@nogoodwithnames I just saw the newer FF movie. Terrible.
Wile E. Coyote.
The dude literally is asking for help yet we all ignore him. Shame on us all! Shame!
@elimanningface Yes, but a true call for help would also show some change in behaviour. Don't be an enabler!
@elimanningface
He's cute when he's been vaporized.
Don't mess with perfection.

Legion of Doom!

@rschauer
I still have not managed to watch the full Catwoman movie. There's just something about it.

@simplersimon
There are a bunch of movies which made me think the same thing.
Catwoman is the only one from that list which I couldn't even force myself to finish.

@jaremelz the ff may be the oldest to make it to tv/movie form, but justice society of america appeared in the 40s, so ff is not the original.

Elektra was done exceptionally poorly, too.
Maybe not as bad as Catwoman, though.
@2many2no
Incidentally, Elektra is another movie on my list which I won't type straight-out.
Recent batman... I just can't seem to like Ben in that role... or most any role... I'd rather this guy as Batman over Ben...
@sohmageek I would pay to see that.
I'd have to say 2 come to mind.
The 1994 Fantastic Four movie was insanely cheesy
And then also the Electra Woman and Dyna Girl reboot from 2001
Without a doubt the 2011 "Green Hornet".
I'd like to throw in TMNT, after catching a few minutes of the 2014 this weekend past. Somehow they oozed in a sequel.

I enjoy super hero films. I even read the occasional super hero graphic novel. I have friends who are fanboy types. I get that it's legit stuff.
But meh. And not in a good way. I'm not done caring. But I'm mostly done caring.
I will say that the Green Lantern animated series (sadly cancelled due to the movie's reception) was actually pretty good.
Multiple Man. I always found him intriguing. Relegated to a cut-from-the-theatrical-release 2-second cameo in X-men 3. Maybe it wasn't cut... it was a short scene, though.
Or ooo! ooo! Dyno-Mutt! He deserves a live-action film if Underdog ever did!
