I love the anticipation of that glorious day when I will find myself removing so many mysterious items from the magic box and sorting them all into one of two piles labeled either “recycling” or “garbage”
I think it’s like gambling. Different odds makeup and IMO a more favorable one than in Vegas. Bring five dollars in there and you’ll probably leave with nothing, maybe win a little bit, maybe win a lot, very slim chance of hitting it big. Bring five dollars here and you’ll maybe get complete garbage, maybe get something kind of useful, and unlikely (but more likely than in Vegas) get something pretty cool.
The big prize is a lot smaller, but the odds of getting it are higher. And the odds of walking away with something worth at least five dollars are much better.
The neener, neener factor
in posting your order number is oblong-exploded-goat
I just want one because I’m used to being dissapointed.
The failure. The failure.
The possibility of getting something “Extra” (like a pallet of Cornfield Trip Glasses) is always nice, too
The satisfaction of getting one, and the eventual disappointment overshadowing that feeling when opening it.
Clinging desperately to the hope of getting lucky while knowing full well I’ll never get one
Mostly I just want the bag
scarcity. i’d buy one if i ever saw it available, simply because i’d probably never have the chance again.
scoring some absolutely useless stuff!
I keep my standards low, so I’m never disappointed…
Gotta love VMP!! First one ever…
