@ybmuG
MOLEX is a cable brand
CDFP is a high speed connector, think like PCIe gen 5, upto 400gbps
4X100GE is 4 100 gigabit ethernet connections
QSFP28 is Quad (4-channel) small form factor hot pluggable fibre optical transceiver, the 28 is the per channel speed.
DAC FAN OUT is direct attached connector that fans out to multiple connectors.
@WordEGirl I’ve had fair luck with posting such things for free on places like Craigslist, NextDoor and BuyNothing. Using all the buzz words from a post like ybmuG’s Some techie shows up and is genuinely appreciative. More ambitious folks do a bit more research and sell on Craigslist or eBay. I do see Molex stuff on eBay. I once took new appliance light bulbs to an appliance repair shop. They looked at me like I was slightly nuts, but happily took them.
It connects the confabulator to the sidereal resonators which provides inverse, dereactive phase current to sychronizing gram meters to control the magneto reluctance and capacitive direactance to the primary flux capacitor. Without this crucial cable, any time driver would be stranded until such time that the cable becomes in phase with your current reality.
So my advice is to hold onto this beauty and when the Delorean appears name your price.
Looks like a breakout cable for a network switch.
Have you done a search on any identifying numbers?
I did but can’t figure it out!
. Y’all can zoom in I think and see them
Apparently it’s a MOLEX 2010693000 1M CDFP TO 4X100GE QSFP28 DAC FAN OUT
That clears it right up!

@fibrs86

Uhhhh (1) who would use this and (2) what the heck do I do with it?

@WordEGirl In a perfect world, find someone who needs one!

@WordEGirl you would need some serious/expensive computer and or networking equipment to make use of that cable.
If those 4 connectors were round I’d say it was for milking cows but that would be udderly ridiculous!!

@IndifferentDude Holy cow! I see you milked that joke for all it was worth.
@IndifferentDude @Kidsandliz
IMHO- Both the previous posts are spoilt milk.
Those are for milking possum udders.

That is a connector set for a 1981 Mark III Delorean Time Machine.

@Jackinga Sadly, the flux capacitors have been on backorder for over a decade at this point.
