@JasonKim It's a regular hack n' slash like D3, but they built it around the things like liked in Diablo 2. It is also free to play, funding based around cosmetic microtransations (nothing that impacts actual game play).
Funny, bored on a snowday, I was looking through my Steam library, and thought it would be neat to check out Half-Life 2. 4 hours later I'm enjoying it as much as I did the first time. Great game.
@heli0s I've been an agent in Ingress since the start! It's a great way to kill time, but gas prices kept me from playing for some time, I've recently taken it up again with the lower gas prices. If you are wondering why gas is involved, out here in the middle you have to drive quite a bit to capture a node ;)
@heli0s I played Ingress for a while (viva la resistance) when I was working over near MIT. I coudn't compete with those nerds, everyone L8. The whole area would shift blue-green within an hour and then back the next. Lots of fun, but consumed waaaaay too much time.
I've spent the most wasted time recently on Two Dots. Monument Valley brought me the most joy. Portal stuck in my mind the most. And I only played it because of the Jonathan Coulton song.
I'm still having fun with Minecraft. Currently excavating one of the new underwater citadel/temples and rebuilding some structures using the new materials.
My wife just got Wasteland 2 so I'll be trying that next (the original was a blast)
I have been playing a ton of Path of Exile.
Because of the complexity, you have a lot of options on how you play, so it is easy to get sucked in trying to run all kinds of weird builds.
@The_Baron man that looks fun. It looks like an MMORPG version of the Diablo. I am kinda baffled by having too many options though.

Lately? Limbo. Got a free code for it. Wasn't a terribly long game, but I enjoyed it. Very dark game, but quite enjoyable. At least, I thought so.
@ABitterWoman I thought Limbo was a lot of fun, especially if you play it in the dark.
For some reason I've put in 70 hours into Game Dev Tycoon...

I've been playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Super Smash Bros. for WiiU
I liked the game where my wife dressed up as a . . . . Oh, sorry. Not that kind of game we're discussing I guess. But damn if it wasn't fun.
Kinda like geocaching but you get to blow shit up...

@heli0s My sister, her husband, their 13-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter play that. They even got matching T-shirts with their game names.
For just general go at it action it's been Titanfall for me... keep an eye out you can pick it up for $10 or less from time to time.

@SSteve
@thismyusername When I first watched his Best. Concert. Ever. DVD I had no idea what "the cake is a lie" meant.
Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, non-stop. I even bought a PS Vita so I could play over the holiday when I was out of town.
Just beat The Last Of Us: Remastered for the first time the other day. Oh man!
