What do you do with the junk you have gotten in your BOC aka Fucko aka IRK?
12Well for me it depends on what it was. If it was someone else’s broken shit that they returned, it is just lying around the house pissing my wife off that I spent $ 5 for it. But if it was something new, I usually send it to our daughter to sell on ebay. She just sold the Martian watch from my last IRK for $ 80. That still pisses my wife off as we will never see any of that money.

Keep it in a box to unload on another unsuspecting Mehtizen next time
we decide to abuse the postal systemthere is an exchange… I thought that was what all of us did?@djslack Speaking of the exchange - when makes sense to do the next one?
I made the mistake of taking the last one I got to a family gathering to open. It took about a minute before there was nothing but the empty box left.
Donation centers
Most likely goes straight to Goodwill.
Did someone say work Christmas party presents?
As I have only “won” one Fucko- my experience and need to find homes for the crap I didn’t want.
I did get a pork-cooking meat thermometer in a plastic pig form-factor, that oinks when it hits the target temp- and thus far it has significantly improved the doneness levels of our grilled pork…
@PhysAssist That sounds totally cool. I need one for a barbeque obsessed friend.
@Fuzzalini they also make cows that go moo and chickens that cluck.
They’re cute but the bad thing for non-casual bbq’rs is they are preset to a single temperature that cannot be changed.
@djslack Ah, ok. I actually bought him a Bluetooth thermometer (from Meh back when they sold mostly electronics) and he loves being able to watch the big green egg while he’s also watching a baseball game. But I think he’d like the novelty of the squealing pig, even if he rarely used it.
@Fuzzalini Here’s a link:

Why not box it up and send it to needy school teachers?
@therealjrn Not sure they will appreciate the bidet I got…
@chienfou the mental picture of turning a classroom full of first graders loose with a bidet has amused me more than it should… Thanks!
@chienfou @djslack We all poop do we not? Even school teachers?
I got an XS dog raincoat and a Wish and Wear Genie Necklace. I WAS actually thinking of donating them to the local library, but I’m worried they might think I was trying to send them a message.
I’ve only gotten one fuko and have completely struck out on IRK’s and BOC’s. That being said I genuinely loved everything I got in my fuko and every time I miss out on the other two I have my girlfriend grab a box and tell her to throw some of my things that she might think that I could of forgot that I own and tape it shut so I can open it when the reveal threads start getting posted so I don’t have to cry myself to sleep every time a meh-rathon or woot-off occurs.
Obnoxious work secret santa exchanges.
Dust collectors.
White elephant gift exchanges at work, gifts for friends and neighbors, yard sale fodder, and much of it goes to the charity shop near my office.
Depends on what I get. The last IRK I got a Shark vacuum with bonus steam mop. The steam mop I sold to a friend for $10. The vacuum I just sold on Facebook for $70. This is the first time I’ve had such good luck with one of these purchases. In the past sometimes I find the items actually useful for me or friends/family. Random paper plates go on the “bookcase of food” at work. My sister appreciated the makeup brush set. A friend loves the bathrobe. Other things end up either in the donate box or the “white elephant gift exchange” box.
in this last one, i got a couple useful(to me) things(including a pretty snazzy laptop backpack), and a couple…not so much…among the not so much are one of the little mini-quadcopter drones they sold Ad nauseam a couple years back, and a Call of Duty branded set of Ear buds, and mini powerbank (apparently from a Lootcrate), that i gave to a friend to send in a care package to his little brother in the army, who was recently stationed in South Korea.
@earlyre Someday we’re going to win that war and let our boys come home.
Regift, hoard and/or donate.
Got a woot off once! Never a fuku always miss it
