@narfcake The only time I was ever in a Warner Brothers store was 1998, when we were at the Mall of America. I could have easily spent a grand just on Marvin the Martian stuff. They even had Marvin and Mrs. Marvin champagne flutes.
I sort of remember the '90s. Didn’t like them much. I’m not sure I could identify any specific brands as having been “big” in that decade. I was a fashion-atheist then. (This hasn’t changed, really.)
@JvB my nephew (21) got married a few weeks ago, at the ceremony they had wrist corsages for the mothers and grandmothers…
they were literally flowers hot glued to slap bracelets…
I loved my JNCO’s mostly because they had space for juniors (teen girls) thighs which most jeans in the late 90s refused to think they existed. Then old navy came along and things got better thanks to their inconsistent sizing.
I always think of the 90s as bland and flavourless. Generally boring music, boring fashion. The 90’s was when culture took a nap between the 80’s and 00’s.
@Kyeh I’m used to them doing hats, and just most athletic gear. I feel like they weren’t as huge in my youth as some other brands, though. And I feel like skidz really only remained trendy through the very early 90s. The maximalism mostly died down when grunge became popular. Zubaz went belly-up in ‘96, after all.
The brands for me overlapped from the 80’s to the 90’s. First and foremost the original Levi’s(501,507 and later on 550’s)not the stone washed the original’s that you naturally distressed yourself from wear and tear. The other is the women’s Reebok Freestyle’s, both the low and the hightops.
Technically held over… but…

Wang Computers.
I miss my Starter coat

@togle I remember wanting a pair when I was in high school, but I was always the last to get the latest things and never got a pair.
They were selling them at Walmart a few years ago. I’m sure the company was hoping for a come-back.
Sublime
Lisa Frank!
Acme. My wallet definitely got a workout back in the days of the Warner Brothers Studio Stores.

Def. Big Dog… as an “American sized” person, I appreciate all brands that make it easier to find clothing in my larger sizes…
Converse Chucks & Doc Martens

Airwalks.
I only had one Generra HYPERCOLOR™ shirt and it looked exactly like this: https://gem.app/product/art-vintage-90s-hypercolor-longsleeve
If I had my way, I would have owned every single shirt they made.

@xenophod Oh, yeah - I’d completely forgotten about those! I had a purple/pink shirt, so cool.
@Kyeh @xenophod I’m pretty sure that I never heard of them. I can’t recall it, anyway.
@xenophod Those would never fly today. They are an invitation for people to touch you and that’s a no-no anymore.
Magic Eye pictures; AKA 3D pictures.
@hchavers oh my gosh I HATE those! I could never, ever see what you were supposed to see in there. So incredibly frustrating!

Not a decade I’m nostalgic for.
@OnionSoup
Sobe and Orbitz (the beverage company)
@afeaton Came here to say Sobe, but maaan I had forgotten about Orbitz. Gross! Loved it!
are those bugle boys?!
I had a photo but I lost it…
@cutiecupid15
Equal parts Stoli Vodka and Mandarin Orange Slice. So good.
Jansport
@jitc They’re still around, though.
@Kyeh so is every brand listed in the poll selection above. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
@jitc Oh, weird - I hadn’t noticed that. Champion is the only one I’m really familiar with, but I remember it being sweatshirts, mostly.

@jitc Oh, those clowny pants!
I never knew anyone who wore them.

80’s/90’s overlap, but the giant purple can of Aquanet. I can still smell it
