So, pricing out soft-serve mix and cake style cones (in commercial quantities) on Amazon nets about $0.39 per cone in consumable expenses. (about a $132 initial investment for ~340 servings not counting the cost of this machine) Or omit the cones and serve in a dish for about 3 cents per serving.
Given the universally terrible reviews of this machine, you’ll be lucky to use 1% of your supplies before you chuck this thing in the trash after it leaks or just fails to produce ice cream, or you realize it’s just not worth the trouble to clean.
My advice: skip this and go visit your local gas station/mini-mart/bodega/or even McDonald’s if you have to and plunk down a couple of bucks for a cone without ever having to worry about mixing, clean-up, or fighting with a POS ice cream maker.

Good eye, @JvB, good eye.
Those Amazon reviews make this an appropriate middle-of-the-night offer … I should go to bed
Maybe this one is “better”!
