@PooltoyWolf - Seems to’ve been mostly a switcher engine. Pop was a rail fan so I heard a LOT about engines, but as the Pennsy was local it was mostly Baldwin stuff for him. We still have a LARGE collection of Grif Teller calendars!
@aetris The 567 was the engine that put EMD on the map in the early days of diesel locomotion. It powered the FT freight diesel in the late 1930s (the ‘diesel that killed steam’) and reached its penultimate turbocharged V16 form in 1963, powering the 2,500 horsepower GP35. The 567 also powered thousands of US Navy submarines, ships, and landing craft, and was used in countless stationary power generation and pumping roles, as well. It’s got a long and storied history, and many are still operating today!
@blaineg Once upon a time that was me… I always seemed to lost my streak at around 100 (even though I swear I clicked the button on days it said I did not)…
… then I went about a year with barely clicking at all… I had lost hope, and it was wonderful.
Until one day I looked and saw I was getting close to 200 again. Damnit! Now I have hope again and a mission to reach 365.
Having hope really is the worst! I just know a glitch will cause me to lose all my progress by probably around 345.
@llangley@OnionSoup I am bleakly hopeful that it will take them that much time or more to decide that I’m enough of a target to be worth unpersoning. I have the alleged advantage of not being deportable, but this turns into a disastrous disadvantage in situations like these.
Currently at 1867/367 and climbing.
369 was my goal before 1k
Happy New Year’s resolutions!
Nice to see my topic in your screenshot.
6939 meh button clicks
18 days in a row
longest streak: 408
Clearly I am not conscientious.
567 is a very good number!

I just wanted to get to 365 and finally made it… now at 461 and am just waiting to see how far up I can get it without a specific goal
I feel much better since I gave up hope.

@OnionSoup
@OnionSoup you really ARE hopeful! Thinking that we’re still able to be clicking around after the 20th when the dicking around begins.

@llangley I’m optimistic it will take them at least 6 months before they get around to deporting me.

@OnionSoup @werehatrack Agreed…“bleakly hopeful” is a good way to put it
. And then they’ll likely change the rules
I wouldn’t know. I’ve had too many brain cramps to get past 77…
@wollyhop
Can we see the screenshot with your 7s?
Shure

@Wollyhop Oh! There are also 7 blanks!
EXCELLENT!!
Thanks
