Warranty Information In Product Threads - Suggestion
37Perhaps linking the warranty/contact information for the company in the Warranty section of a product thread would be helpful?
For example:
Warranty: 1 Year Mach Speed Technologies
Could be:
Warranty: 1 Year Mach Speed Technologies
Allowing for people to check the terms on the warranty before purchase, or allowing easier access to file a claim if needed.

Wow, a so-perfect post that for 20 hours it simply gets lots of stars, without requiring any further commentary. Oops.
Great idea, especially since some products (cough weather radios) are absolute shit and won't last a week.
Warranty information would be nice, but I wonder how much value it would be when it costs more than the purchase price to ship a defective new item back, just to get a questionable refurb in return. I can understand when it's only a few buyers reporting issues, but when a large majority are reporting DOA issues out of the box, or PRE-damage that occurred even before being boxed, we know there is mis-representation somewhere in the chain of sales. Warranty claims won't be of much good to restore customer confidence at that point. Luckily, Meh often makes good on such incidents, but I wonder if more efforts shouldn't be made to ensure product condition / quality prior to putting them up for sale to save all of us and them some time and frustration, not to mention money.

@kuoh That's part of the gamble with a true deal-a-day site. They don't have the resources to go inspect every box before it goes out - and if they did, the prices would be much, much higher. The fact that mediocre can pull off great prices and top-notch customer service is more than I would generally expect from a site in this industry.
You get what you pay for. At meh, you usually get more than you paid for.
@Thumperchick It may be a gamble, but Meh also knows that if too many buyers lose too many times, they will eventually decide to cut their losses. I don't expect them to check every box, but a few of the recent items have had less than stellar quality control and at least one (beverage cooler) where the supplier blatantly packaged damaged products in new boxes and shipped them to customers. I wasn't part of that fiasco, but to Meh's credit, they did refund my Xstream BT speaker purchase. I would've stayed even if they didn't, but if they hadn't taken responsibility, it would've definitely impacted my future purchasing decisions on more expensive products. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to bash them, merely suggesting that a bit more QC on their part could go much further than a "sorry, here's the manufacturer's warranty info" response.
