VMP work around or different
1I’m active as VMP. I noticed on side deal it list me as VMP and says I can’t renew if cancel. I was helping new person set up their account for the mehrathon and on their side deal account page it gives them then option to sign up for free shipping 5 dollars a month to meh. Is this normal.

VMP is closed to new members, but we have a new membership option that’s $5.99/month and covers free shipping to all of our sites. (It doesn’t have the other perks of VMP, though.)
@Thumperchick The “other perks” for VMP’s seem to have more or less vanished since members are included in anything VMP’s have been included in for the last several years. Are there any VMP perks actually left besides the cost never going up (or am I making a wrong assumption about that due to the reality of inflation)?

If you partake at Casemates at least every so often, that alone makes the VMP membership worthwhile, in addition to SideDeal and MorningSave.
