@stolicat I was limited to five characters with the viceroy butterfly plate; otherwise i would have gone with “MOSURA”. I thought shortening that would have made no sense to anyone.
And Mothra always kicked Godzilla’s ass (except in GMK).
@Milyvan1 I just wish it was some color other than cream, since the car is white.
I was looking at wildlife plates and decided the artwork for the bobcat was too ugly. I was thinking about the butterfly and thinking about personalization and it all came together.
I still haven’t seen a viceroy butterfly. Of the big ones this summer I got monarchs and tigers and spicebush and eastern black, but no viceroy.
@chienfou@mike808@tinamarie1974 Well my answer tells you how much TV I watched. For a number of years I worked in outdoor adventure and on “tall ships” and no access to TV.
@Kidsandliz@mike808@tinamarie1974 Nice! We did a break from TV when the kids were young (from about birth to early teens) so I also have limited culture references from those years. Those I do know are from reading about them on the net or in the paper etc.
Having a chance to make a living working on a tall ship would be awesome! What waters did you ply?
@chienfou Chesapeake Bay (including the schooner race from Fells Point/Baltimore to Norfolk) although some of that was on a sailing tug boat), Norfolk/Hampton Rds/Jamestown areas, Florida Keys including the Dry Tortugas including down to the historic prison there/the national marine park, Bahamas, USA/British Virgin Islands, NW Scotland, Lake Erie, Boston (mostly) with trips to Gloucester and several times up to Portsmouth, Atlantic City and surrounds, several of those cities to NYC for 4th of July/parade of sail… and probably some I have forgotten.
There was a mid life crisis dude riding around in a classic convertible with an antique car plate that read SINGLE. Wish I had taken a photo but don’t do photos while driving.
I was in LA a few weeks ago visiting my son and his family and my wife were driving. As we got on 10, the black Tesla in front had the plate “Musk 1”. The picture was lousy and the tinted windows kept me from seeing who was driving. I would have figured he would have all the Musk plates, so it could have been him, but who knows.
My husband’s doctor’s first name was William. He had a Jag with the license plate “Dr Bill.” I often wondered if the Bill was short for William or it was a doctor’s bill that paid for the Jag.
Was driving behind this last week …
I thought @tinamarie1974 lived in St Louis or somewhere like that …
@stolicat hahaha that is fantastic. Oh and thinking of that, I got my Wonder Woman laaso/whip in the mail today
@tinamarie1974 we’re going get pictures, right? you don’t have to be wearing it all, just laid out so we get to see the assemblage …
@stolicat I can do that! I don’t have the boot covers yet, my seamstress/tailor promised sometime before Halloween.
Here are my bracelets and the lasso
@tinamarie1974 looks like a good start - keep us updated!
@stolicat @tinamarie1974 Very Nice!
@stolicat their other car has plates that read: GOOD
@chienfou @stolicat
/youtube Devo
@narfcake @stolicat …Yep! Exactly!!
I thought I had a better picture of mine, but this is all I can find right now, and I’m not going out to take one now.
@craigthom That’s great! But watch out for this guy …
@craigthom @stolicat no problem… he’s ‘expired’

@craigthom @stolicat yep
I’m sure you would have gotten way tired of answering the “Who the fuck is Ms. Ura?” question.
On a scale of
what
tothe fuck
- how many email notifications is @carl669 getting for these?@craigthom The butterfly plate really adds the panache: Awesome!
POPSOCKETS! COURT DOCKETS! FOLK ROCK HITS! AWESOME!
@mediocrebot Forgot about you when I said that. You’ve got to be the only bot in existence that reacts to the word awesome.
EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!

Classic vanity plate.
@mike808 Proctologist?
@chienfou @mike808 or their home computer is filled with photos of (which ever sex of humans they are interested in) asses?
@chienfou @Kidsandliz Proctologist. It is from a Seinfeld episode. Get off my lawn!
@chienfou @Kidsandliz @mike808 Kramer was the Assman!!

@Kidsandliz WOW how cool is that. My all time favorite vacation was a sail from Grenada to St. Lucia on the Diamant with Island Windjammers.
@chienfou That sounds fun. There is at least one other person on meh who has worked on tall ships who still works in the marine industry.

Stolen from the internet
@jmoor783 ooohhh. I like it! Bet he gets a bunch of weird looks in traffic… both from those who get it AND those who don’t!
I wish this song was on Spotify, as a TMBG fan this actually fits pretty well into my music tastes.
@WadeKnyal Check out some previous Meh songs.
A long time ago on a Web site far far away there was a podcast with one almost every day.

@katbyter That’s the Batmobile from the legendary, and sadly departed, real life Batman
