Using a pasta maker as a printing press
15For the creatively minded (and those who like cool things), check out this awesome artwork done using a pasta maker to make prints:
If you’d like to learn how to do this (or just curious how it’s done), the blog post about that is here:

Printing is so cool. I want to get into paper marbling!
So much cooler than the soul crushing, commercial printing I do for The Man. Hmmmm, they’d be perfect for little Art-o-Mat pieces!
@MrHappypants Art-o-Mat is one of the coolest projects of the 21st century. I agree, this would be a great medium for that.
@MrHappypants I just looked that up- we have one in town. Field trip!
@sammydog01 Yes!! When we go on vacation to a new place, the first thing we check is if there’s an Art-o-mat and plan a visit.
Post what you get if you go!
Very neat.
Would the art dept get too pissed off if you used their press to make big ass sheets of pasta? Guess you could make acouple extra and fry textiles into them and hang them as mixed media just to be an asshole.
