Bought it last November and it is still in the box-in my office at least where I can stare at it every day-not in the great graveyard of unopened meh boxes which my garage is slowly becoming. Seeing it for sale again might give me the incentive to unbox it-maybe even inflate it.
@docflash At least my wife doesn’t focus on the box and what is in it re my lack of exercise. What she really gives me grief on is the air resistance fan bike in our living room which I insisted on buying but hardly use.
If I remove the base, can I flip the half ball inside out, set it on the floor, then wait for it to pop back into shape and shoot up into the ceiling and break some lights?
Picked one of these up back in January for our garage gym. It’s actually better than I was expecting. You need to pump it up fairly regularly between uses, but if I didn’t have one, I’d get one knowing what I know now about it. (Note, though, that’s about the balance ball part of this thing - the resistance bands and their attachments are total crap.)
I have another brand of this. I had a gym trainer show me how to use it once and it’s pretty fun to stand on top of, even if you don’t do anything else. Not recommended as a step ladder.
Something happened to my other one so this seems like a good time to replace it.

What should I train my half ball to do?
@phendrick Maybe what your other one and one half balls do on a regular basis?
@Felton10 They broke training a long time ago.

@Felton10 I bought one of these at the same time, and like you, mine is still sitting in the box. box.
but knowing that I have the potential to exercise someday, makes me feel vaguely healthier.
@docflash At least my wife doesn’t focus on the box and what is in it re my lack of exercise. What she really gives me grief on is the air resistance fan bike in our living room which I insisted on buying but hardly use.
@docflash @Felton10 What we really need is bike-powered laptop computers. Then you’d have to pedal to get your daily fix of Meh.
A great excuse to continue half-assing my workouts!
@marclove If you buy two half-balls you can whole-ass it.
@brennyn @marclove And have a ball doing it.
Born under a Meh sign
Been down since I began to buy
If it wasn’t for half balls
You know I wouldn’t have no balls at all
“Detachable Resistance Bands”
like hit you in the face (or worse) bands?
@hchavers Don’t resistance bands have something to do with guerrilla warfare?
@hchavers Exactly. It’s a no from me, dogg.
@hchavers @stinks The fail at about 1:36, the band hit him in the face, he’s doubled over in pain, and literally no one in the gym gave a shit. Nice!
So is that pronounced
“urban fit”
“you’re bein’ fit”
“you’re BUYIN’? F it!”
?
@awk No it’s: Somone’s going to have a fit if you buy it.
If I remove the base, can I flip the half ball inside out, set it on the floor, then wait for it to pop back into shape and shoot up into the ceiling and break some lights?
@brennyn I loved those things… This’ll put a hole in your ceiling though.

But it sure can hold a big one!
I bought one of these last time and I love it. Flip it upside down and balance, squats, etc. great off season training for downhill skiing
