@k4evryng I fear that what I actually have to do is make stickers and take them to the grocery store. But the effort to do that is much higher than grabbing a pencil to accomplish this so maybe that’s a controllable urge.
I would never have ‘seen’ that in the sticker, but if there’s a sex joke to be made, it will definitely be found by someone. Probably, (but not always), by a guy.
@pmarin I worked at IN-N-OUT all through highschool back in those days and I’m pretty sure I still have a small stack of these bumper stickers buried somewhere deep in my moving boxes towers in the garage… that haven’t been unpacked in 13 years of living here
@werehatrack@yakkoTDI I’ve never heard of them either. Maybe I’ll leave it that way.
“GoGurt” just sounds icky somehow; maybe “gurt” reminds me of “regurgitate,” I don’t know. Other words are like that - I hate the word “diaspora” because it sounds like “diarrhea” and “spore.” “Trifecta” because it sounds like “infect.”
@Kyeh@werehatrack I thought they were just riffing on portable yogurt myself. It’s yogurt that you can go with, right? I mean not like the Jamie Lee Curtis kind of yogurt you can go with, but like a kid can take it in their lunchbox sense of go.

But it does sound pretty gross if you think about it.
Oh that’s hysterical! Now you have to edit that into the meme…

@djslack ummm….yes!! You absolutely need to do that! And take pictures to show us!
The effort is higher, but the pay off would be sweet (especially if you had the time to wait and see if someone noticed it and laughed!)
At the title I started thinking more of this
/youtube Devo live Uncontrollable Urge video performance
song starts about 1 1/2 mins in
@pmarin God damn DEVO were tight as hell in 1980
@pmarin Thanks for sharing. I hadn’t seen this performance. The audience never knew what hit them.
@pmarin @sanspoint they’re still amazing to witness live… sadly almost done
@Noddy93 @pmarin @sanspoint
They were/are a goddam lot of fun.

Also this modified In-and-Out Burger bumper sticker that was often modified:

@pmarin geez…people are so clever.
I would never have ‘seen’ that in the sticker, but if there’s a sex joke to be made, it will definitely be found by someone. Probably, (but not always), by a guy.
@k4evryng @pmarin they were really really common in California for a long time

@pmarin I had that bumper sticker on my big, in the early 80’s; and yes it was modified.
I’ve always thought that “Go Gurt” sounded kind of disgusting for some reason.
@Kyeh I always thought that they were riffing on Go Gurl, but it seemed like a weak link to try to exploit the way they were doing it.
@Kyeh What about Frubes?
@yakkoTDI You had to do that. I’d never heard of them, and now I have.
@werehatrack @yakkoTDI I’ve never heard of them either. Maybe I’ll leave it that way.

@Kyeh @werehatrack Frubes is just the name for Go Gurt in the UK.
@werehatrack @yakkoTDI Really!? WHR’s reaction made it seem so bad.
@werehatrack @yakkoTDI Huh, I looked them up. I’d much rather buy Frubes than GoGurt (I swear, it sounds like gagging.)

@djslack @werehatrack Yes, I’m sure that’s what they meant, and I guess it’s clever; I just don’t like the way it sounds!
Fair warning that I’m stealing and redistributing.
