I’ve been waiting for air mattresses and this is close enough I guess. A family member just moved to another state for a job and me and others have wanted to visit him but he has no extra beds/matresses,etc so this will be perfect for a 1 to 2 night visit at his new apartment for me and other family members
@Vitanima Sleeping pads like this are not great for sleeping on… your guest will hate you. It’s basically a couple steps up from sleeping on the ground, which is why it’s fine for camping.
@Vitanima I can’t speak for this model, but I have a Klymit Static V that I use for apartment floors and find this style of pad very comfortable. Something about the multiple air chambers balances out the air pressure so no part of my 200+ pound mass touches the hard floor. If this works the same way, you should be happy.
FYI At freezing and below it will not insulate you from the cold ground (this is true with all air mattresses). The cold will come up from the ground through it. You need a foam pad or other camping pad meant for cold weather camping to put over it (a closed cell one would work).
@Kidsandliz Okay then, the lesson learned here is do not go camping in the winter! That works for me.
Personally I like camping. My wife, who loved to go camping before we got married, has since changed & now does not like camping. So no camping for us, even in the summer.
@Joedetroit Wrong lesson learned. Lesson learned is buy a closed cell foam pad and use it to insulate you from the cold air in the air mattress and the cold ground. Then you can still have the comfort of the air mattress without freezing your ass off from below you. If you are car camping just throw a couple of fleece blankets over the air mattress and that should work as well. OR wait until meh finally gets around to buying HEST remaindered out by some retailer foam mattresses with an air mattress underneath (not good for backpacking, rather only for car camping as they are big. Saw one in REI. I covet them but will never be an owner due to cost). More realistically them selling a cheaper blend of foam and air mattress one.
When you say 2 pack single or double, it leads a person to believe that there’s two no matter what size. A less misleading opener would have been “double or 2 pack single”. I was going to get a 2 pack of the double size until I got to the order page. Meh.
What I want is a single 6" thick air mattress that’s 48" wide and 78" long. Pickup and minivan owners are likely to understand why. But for some unfathomable reason, the people making these things seem to think that it obviously is so much cooler to split them into two strips (bad) or make them 51 or 52 or 54 inches wide (worse) or make them 68 or 72 or 74 inches long (OFFS) or do some other even more infuriating thing to turn what might have been a home run into a pop foul to the third baseman.

Will these help warm up the servers so Meh responds faster?
@yakkoTDI No, but it will pad them when they crash.
@yakkoTDI And make your trunk very cozy.
The start of another great mehthon
@mexicantacos
AND I CAN FEEL ONE COMING ON!
Oh wait, that might just be that spoiled fish I ate last night!
Do the sleeping pads stay asleep even if you lay on them, or does that make them wake up?
3lbs “ultralight”
@hjrich Yeah; not.
@hjrich It’s 56” wide… for a massive pad like that, 3lbs is pretty damn light. The single is 1.5lbs.
@hjrich True ultralight is more like 1 lb… but I’m willing to look the other way on half a pound for only $15.
I’m really happy with meh offering this. I have a small car, two kids and I like camping.
@SnakeJG these kinds of pads are really awful. They’re not comfortable for anyone over the age of 10
@jgoldshlag sounds perfect for my kids!

Now I just need a sleeping bag!
Exactly what I look for in a sleeping companion.
@awk
@awk I prefer them noisy?.

googling the 1st model number takes me to a website offering the singles for $10.19 shipped. but their copywriting SUCKS compared to Meh.
@docflash but the pics are better.
@docflash It’s kind of amusing:

@9ballgirl95 I thought the very same thing, and even went as far as clicking the “Buy” button to look at what the official options actually said.
Fortunately, the options (when buying) are accurate. But absolutely would’ve been a lot clearer by simply flipping the order in the write-up.
