The story about the mouse is true! I’ve learned to put everything into glass, metal, or heavy plastic containers. Plastic bags and thin plastic containers mean nothing to them.
@Lynnerizer@pmarin My cat just caught 2 teensy mice this week, the first time I’ve seen that since I got him 5 years ago, when he caught one his first week here. He was a bit odd about it, just stood there next to the poor little corpse. I’m glad he doesn’t eat them or take them anywhere, really.
@brainmist@Lynnerizer@pmarin Oh, I need one to encase my whole damn house, I’m afraid. The basement is only partly finished, with concrete walls that go up about 4 feet, and then beyond them under the rest of the house is bare dirt. This house will be a scrape-off when I sell it (or if I win the lottery and can do it myself!)

@pmarin I remember those days!
It’s actually weird living in a place where we don’t have mice but I’m definitely NOT COMPLAINING!

@Lynnerizer it didn’t help that some place sent us 20-40 lbs of pasta one year. I am still finding pieces in the garage and closets.

@Lynnerizer @pmarin This is when you need a PastaBox ™.

@Kyeh @Lynnerizer @pmarin Mine’s a former barn, allegedly, and there’s not much to keep the mice and bats out.
@brainmist @Lynnerizer @pmarin Bats? Wow!
@Kyeh @pmarin
Oh I love that! I’m glad for YOU he doesn’t eat them too!
